Allegedly Putin is hopping mad the war is taking so long, but it might be bs. Some EPP (center right) politician from the European Parliament, which might mean it's a meme from a meme politician. Apologies if posted.

They sent helicopters into kiev on the first day

I just dont understand russia letting the power and water stay on
Because it would trigger a humanitarian crisis. More of a humanitarian crisis. And for what? They have generators and stored water for the fighting forces.

Knocking that stuff out causes more problems than it solves.

Also Russia sending in the shit stuff to absorb the Javelin stocks potentially confirmed

Lmao that would be funny, Russia went from from throwing away men to waste German ammunition to throwing away motors to waste US sponsored ammunition.

History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme.

Chinese monarchism is severely damaged by the fact that the last dynasty were incompetent foreign Manchus. Had the Ming been the last dynasty, I feel the situation would be very different.
The communist and KMT regimes also systematically purged anyone suspected of monarchist loyalties.

Now it's mostly viewed as a quaint relic; safe to do TV shows and movies.

How would a "Ukrainian officer" know what Putin is talking about in his lair?

I doubt the source is real. For the last few days I have been hearing "YAS SLAY UKRAINE! RUSSIA IS COMPLETELY COLLAPSING" only then to hear "RUSSIANS ARE BREAKING THROUGH! WE NEED A DESPERATE DEFENCE!"

It just seems like back to back mixed messaging to have as many Ukrainians throw their lives into the meat grinder as possible. To delay what exactly??? That's more my concern.

Hopefully it's just pure Western retardation and not a gay op to start a NATO-Russia war.

China seems like the only one thats gonna come out stronker.

The US and other oil producing countries will benefit from Russian product being barred if it comes to that.

We'll sell a lot of weapons to Europe and increase our influence there because of this regardless.

China's long term goal is to replace the USD$ as the reserve currency. Russia having to lean more on CIPS isn't great for them but its great for China.
Russia is a massive producer of oil, wheat, and other raw materials. You want access to those things your going to have to go through China's CIPS or what ever the hell the Indian one is going to be called.

Long term means exactly that ... long term.

China has been "dumping" the USD dollar for a for a couple years now but in extremely small amounts. They can only move as fast as their dependancy on foreign trade diminishes which is not happening at a rate that they could abandon the dollar anytime in the near future.

Until than China is barely any less exposed to sanctions than Russia.

I've wondered though are there are Chinese monarchists. There are monarchists in places that haven't had kings (France, which recently had a very large legitimist march recently) or emperors (Brazil) in a long time, longer than China (and there were efforts via a warlord or two to revive it, without counting Manchukuo). Sorry for the OT.

I've never seen any legitimate ones. The cultural revolution and generations being taught that the Qing dynasty was responsible for the country's decline create
a kind of intellectual problem for it. The last dynasty in China was also considered an "alien" (not Han Chinese) Dynasty which creates additional problems.

The other thing is that Chinese leaders of the Communist party tend to become substitute emperors if they last long enough. That was certainly true of
Mao and its becoming true of Xi as well. They might as well be emperors given their position and treatment within the society. I mean there is a reason
Mao created the PRC from the gate of the old Palace, put his picture on the front of the palace and is buried in the palace grounds.
