Eh I’ve been drawing digitally for the better part of 15 years now and most Wacom tablets I had broke within a couple years of purchase just through natural wear and tear, usually around the USB connections. Idk what her setup is like obviously but depending on brand and model and how often she travels with it (as a kid I brought mine and my laptop places a lot which sped up damages) it’s actually pretty possible it just broke through no real fault of her own.

Throwing in my own two cents, I have been using the same Wacom Bamboo for 8 years now. I have a spare one but have never needed to use it. The only thing I had to replace was the cable, which is just a normal USB cable (USB-C I think? Not sure). And I'm really bad with putting it away, I leave it on my desk a lot while working so they're built to last IMO. But we've seen from pics of her room before Puppy really doesn't keep her things organized, I can imagine something like stepping on it accidentally would break it.
There's also the debate of whether it's a art tablet or a tablet like an iPad, which would be easier to break. IDK.

They wholeheartedly believed Puppy's life was in their hands, And this can happen multiple times a week. Fuck, anyone would be exhausted.
So, yeah, Lex should just let bygones be bygones and move on, they're not getting anything but a non-apology at best from Puppy, but I can't help but sympathize with how scared Puppy probably made Lex feel. Traumatized? Probably not forever, but that kind of shit can take a while to shake off, especially when they're younger. Even if it was all BS, it was real to them.

Yeah and reading the thread, it also said that there are other friends Lex can’t really mention right now that feel really scared to disconnect from Puppy because they too are seeing what Lex saw and can’t really deal with Puppy anymore. Not to act like an advocate on the farms ffs, but it sounds similar to domestic abuse in which the abuser is super nice at first (which we see when Puppychan likes to kiss ass) and then soon turns into their real personality: violent and abusive and controlling someone to not leave them.

I would never ever room with her honestly, I cannot imagine what she is possible of doing physically once she stops her meds again and someone wants to bail out of the relationship/friendship/roommates/etc. i mean didn’t she want to kill her family once?
