I get it that a lot of Ukrainians, especially in the west, are resisting and vehemently oppose Russian occupation, but I don't like that the media's painting every Ukrainian that way, like they're all sitting scared of the tyrannical Russian mobs swarming their borders. East of Kiev you had people going out and giving presents to Russian troops and cheering for them and in Kiev itself you had civilians getting armed by the government immediately begin attacking government forces with said weapons. That's not to underrate the resistance to Russia, but I think the media is definitely overstating it or at least not mentioning a good chunk of Ukrainians not only support Russia's move but are outright fighting for it. It's a lot more complicated than "Putin literally trying to Hitlerstalin Ukrainians who hate him".

Obviously no confirmation that this is true but people may want to grill enough that they even help hurry on the inevitable so they can get back to it

Let's run down what Ukraine has been doing the past few days
  1. Propping up false hero stories using vidya footage
    View attachment 3022635
  2. E-begging on Twitter for donations from random people and Elon Musk (Probably was r/Ukraine's Idea)
    View attachment 3022642
  3. Spreading old images of (((Volodymyr Zelenskyy))) in army outfits
    View attachment 3022652
  4. Reporting huge numbers of Russians killed while Russians are barely reporting any statistics at all
Truth is dead. Both sides are utter liars and we are in full force disinformation warfare. Anyone who believes either side is 100% telling the truth is dumb cattle and hasn't been paying attention in class.

All of these things are being uncritically swallowed and parroted by the same boomer retards who before this week were screaming about how you can't believe the lyin' mainstream media, that's the funniest thing.

Ukraine gets FUCKED in the ass by Russians. Niggers most affected. Niggers are women confirmed.
Just went on Shitter and saw #AfricansInUkraine is trending...

Holy fuck, WHY MUST NIGGERS ALWAYS CENTER EVERYTHING AROUND THEMSELVES???

There's barely any nogs in Ukraine, the few there are mostly Niggerians studying at uni... just go the fuck back to Niggeria. Nobody wants you there. Holy fuck.

Modern nogs really do cause their own problems.

Really makes you think.

Wordplay that's been going on for a few years now (in the West) to show what side you're on. Further it's a way for Ukraine to further distinguish itself from Russia and is their official translation which is part of some stuff they've been doing for awhile to be less Russian and reclaim their national identity.

Not reclaim, create

I'd believe this more if we were seeing T72s and T80s abandoned as well, which is something I would expect, since armor drinks fuel like Ethan drinks liquor. These are mostly trucks we're seeing which, though not fuel efficient compared to a car, certainly have longer legs than armor does.
Not necessarily.

You'd have your armor units be a bit better, since one fucking dipshit with a 40 year old AT4 might make your tank's day. Better command, better logistical support, better troops.

But it is odd.
Could be that they are dismounting and going wherever they need to go the rest of the way on foot if these are motorized infantry. Could also be that they're trying to use 'abandoned' convoys as lures to draw in UA units.

I just think we're seeing far too many of these convoys abandoned to chalk it up to Russian autism alone. Unless these are Donbas militias that are running out of fuel in the middle of nowhere, which I could completely expect. Either way, I'm curious to know what the answer is once the war is over and we can cut through both the Ukrainian and Russian bullshit.
It's probably dismounted and using old ass vehicles that they don't care about (like how shit's field expedient and 'blow in place' for the US) to set up traps. Nothing like waiting for the enemy to bring in leaders and spotting them or just waiting before opening up with some nice to start handing out door prizes.

alot of the vehicles have Russian IFF. also keep in mind we are only getting civilian Ukrainian video out. the Russians were banned from bringing any recording devices (pretty smart). there have also been videos of locals asking Russians what they are doing and the Russians tell them they are lost and out of gas. they are outpacing their logistics and leaving their rear (and this supplies) undefended. In this video the Ukrainian asks them where they are going (Kiev) and why they are stopped (out of gas) and offers to tow them back to Russia (they laugh).

Keep in mind that this could 100% be a captured vehicle and captured uniforms. Russians went down fighting and UKR found their ride, and then dressed up for propaganda.
Also why the fuck would you tell a random civvie that you are out of fuel ?
For all you know that guy is a soldier driving to his post after visiting his family and your stranded vehicle will get mortared in a few minutes.

Sure they are slavs, but this seems dumb even by their standards.

I can go down to Lowes and get some white paint to paint a Z on the side of my Suburban, but that won't make me a Russkie.

I have also noted the "abandoned" equipment is always stuff that is also present in Ukrainian inventory

Everytime I hear about bad shit happening it is some tweet saying X forces killed Y and it’s just a video of people you cannot really identify being dead already not knowing who killed them so you don’t even know who committed the atrocity even when they were clearly civilians. So it’s kinda hard to take the whole Zelensky claim of genocide seriously when everyone is running around shooting at each other without identifying what they are shooting at first.

It took 2.4 million soviet soldiers to take back eastern ukraine in WW2 and they still had problems with entire german units getting past them and attacking the rear. Russia is now doing the same thing with 190,000. and then they have to occupy. I just dont see it.
Not even counting differences in technology and infrastructure from then to now, but they also ironically had to deal with the fact that almost the entirety of Ukraine was against them and fighting for Germany. There were no loyalist territories or breakaway groups back then IIRC because the Holodmor had only been 20 years prior.

alot of these guys are only in the army for 1 year. they are barely soldiers to begin with.

I always kinda questioned the buildup and I'll admit I mostly thought "just flexing" or "2014 round 2 I guess" but I guess the ruskies went for it anyways. Kinda feels half hearted or rushed in a weird way. It's only three days in so for all we know the Ukrainians may just randomly collapse, but right now it's looking like that may not be the case. My assumption is Putin just thought Ukraine would fold, ignoring the fact him openly saying their culture is fake and gay might spur a degree of patriotism and willingness to fight in the Ukrainian people

Serious question: what is with the rebranding as Kyiv? Kiev isn't quite right either, but "keev" is just wrong. If anything it should be Kiyiv, pronounced "key yeev". If they were going to go through the trouble of re-latinizing the name, why not do it correctly?
I have no clue and I have heard like a billion different reasons for it, apparently spelling it Kiev means you are a Putin puppet, but to me it is just easier to pronounce as an English speaker. Kiyiv just doesn't look our sound right when trying to say it.

That dude is a hardcore Pro-Russian which isn't a surprise, personally even though he's a good compiler of info I don't trust a word he says when he goes "Trust me bro." And even then, there are so many people in cities that people going traitor isn't much of a surprise.
