Not sure of the veracity of this claim, but I have seen people asserting that they are Latin first letters of their destination. Specifically with respect to the V-force headed towards a settlement whose name begins with V (I forget which). NOT based on anything I've read, but purely as an example, perhaps a force labelled with O may be moving on Odessa.

This does not really make sense to me. Seems like a big opsec issue, unless they're also also seeding in a bunch of misdirection/disinfo with fake labels of that type. That, or the Russians figure they are so much stronger than Ukraine that it really doesn't matter if the enemy knows precisely where they are going.

I wish I could get excited about information, but a lot of it is "information" and I fear to trust.

On twitter one sees a thing saying a bunch of unarmed Ukrainians made a tank turn around and leave. Without the description, the video looks like the driver chose to spare the people he easily could have run over.

If there's anything I want to see come of this war Paypal being blocked in Russia is near the top. Either by unilateral decision like this (not impossible considering some of the other companies who've done it) or via sanctions.

We'd need a whole thread in either happenings or community watch to track the shitstorm that would cause.
