If anyone watched Putin's addresses in full, they would 100% know his intentions and end game. NATO has been gaslighting him for nearly a decade and a half. He's pissed and wants them off his front lawn for good with Ukraine remaining as a buffer state. This was unavoidable. This video is from 7 years ago.

NATO stated back in 2008 they were proceeding with Ukraine and Georgia joining NATO. Affirmatively. This isn't new. He's lost his patience and putting them in their place, as would anyone being hustled by an organisation with a history of destabilising governments in the name of democracy.

Fuck Putin and any faggot who thinks Russia is in any way justified starting a war because for independent countries wanting to join NATO for some unexplained reasons.

Putin is many things, but he isn’t a crazed irrational dictator like the normiesphere currently believes. I doubt that he’s doing all of this for some flimsy emotional reason like “recreating the USSR” as some people have claimed.

The simplest explanation in this case is also probably the correct one — Putin did not want Ukraine to join NATO, allowing his enemies to do whatever they want so close to his borders. I have to wonder if this still would’ve happened if Ukraine guaranteed that they would not attempt to join NATO.

Then again, even with that in mind, this full-on invasion doesn’t seem like a wise strategy for Russia. The cost/benefit analysis is questionable at best particularly now that they’ve been severed from the (((international banking system)))

Its not easy. To do it, you need all the other permanent members of the Security Council to agree to it except the country in question. And you an alternative government to recognize as the real government of the country. An alternative government universally recognized by other countries. The situation of China in 1971 doesn't really apply to Russia. There are not two Russias and there is not some easy alternative that one could put at the UN.

But beyond that, if people want a shooting war with Russia, having UN approval to do it isn't going matter to the United States one way or the other. At this point if Biden decides to go to war, the United States is going to war. Nothing can stop it now.

NATO has been gaslighting him by consistently saying they will protect sovereign European states and NATO allies.

Yeah it's been said ealier in this thread but Putin's been playing at the game of realpolitik for 30 years. He's not Hitler circa 1944 succumbing to Parkinson's and on deveral different chemical cocktails.

Main goal was to secure peoples republics on east Ukraine and change rulling regime in Kiev. Well, it didn't go proper.
