Fatrick‘s inability to admit he is wrong or said something stupid is absolutely fascinating. It goes beyond simple obstinance. He is almost at a biological level incapable of admitting fault in anything. It is borderline psychotic.
I can’t imagine what it must be like to be friends with this guy, let alone his wife or girlfriend. I have a feeling his giving up custody of his daughter was rooted in this condition. His wife says she is leaving him. He immediately shifts all blame to her claiming she is the one being irrational. Because why would you leave Fatrick? He is perfect in every way. Infallible. It must be her.
He defiantly says “take the child“ in the divorce believing when his daughter grows up she will ultimately see that it was 100% her mothers fault for her not having her biological father in her life. Then she will understand the truth and come searching for her father who was completely blameless for the split. Fatrick is then vindicated and absolved.
You know this is the fantasy he lives with daily. It’s even stated in the dedication in one of his books.

Yeah the O&A sub went through a weird period where two members (Porsalin and BeigeFrequency) would just make hate documentaries about shit related to the sub or radio show.
I always preferred Porsalin's videos, better editor and his posh Brit accent gave his videos an air of professionalism. The MDE one sucks though, it's just an hour of "MDE is the best and funniest thing to have ever happened".

It's such a huge self-own and he seems to be ashamed of it so I don't see him lying about that. He seems to get pretty mad when people bring it up, and if it was fake or he was able to lie about it he seems like the kind of man who would say so. He probably really is cut out of his daughter's life for good.
I enjoy Porsalin's docs a lot because he's over-the-top in insulting the people he talks about. In the middle of giving a completely banal description of someone he'll insinuate their love for adolescent boys or say something colorful about their appearance that makes you laugh.
It makes for a good contrast between the facts and the memes that other documentarians who take themselves really seriously won't allow.
