Reality is the supply lines through Poland and Romania and the air have been doing a very good job resupplying all those modern shoulder-fired rockets that Ukraine has been using and didn't find under a beet field

If Western weapons hadn't been coming and weren't still coming in bigly the war would have been over 48 hours ago. Ukraine has been holding on by going full madlad shooting them off like crazy any time they see Russian soldiers or vehicles and they haven't run out yet because they keep getting more

They received several shipments of ATGM weaponry through aerial supply drops early on at the start of the war, which were distributed quickly. That's why they have so many. They lost the airports necessary for that not terribly long ago.

Aerial drops are not secure supply lines, I think that's what you don't get here.

Unlike Crimea and Chechnya. Numerous Western leaders actually have stakes (eg illegal businesses) in Ukraine which is part of the corruption going on in the country. Ukraine is also one of the largest markets for human trafficking. To the US/NATO, invasion is only ok if they do it.

I don't feel any discomfort at all about it. The US military is the reason Europe gets to have universal Healthcare. In turn they do what they are told when it matters.

The mistake is thinking the US government or military give one single fuck about the world's opinion of us. We could go isolationist at any time and be completely independent if we wanted to. There is a 0% chance of a foreign power conquering the US homeland.

The US government and military operate based on the stomachs of the US public.
