I just read that the citizens of Kieyv stormed out of the city to rout the Russians, killing thousands. While the Ukrainians suffered no casualties, they did uncover hundreds of saboteurs in their ranks who they shot on sight.

A couple of days ago I returned from Siberia, like this super far away and super cold region hell knows where. It was kinda surrealistic, we rode in a small UAZ and when our cell phones caught the network (because most of those territories are not covered by IPs) someone said "you know the war has started". I spoke to some ppl livingf there, adults and old ones, usually they are fishermen, drivers or retirees and bacially no one supported that shit, everyone was like it was shitty before and now it's gonna be even shittier.

It's right from Dugin's theories, and no it's not talking about cleansing Ukrainians.

Basically to Duginsts (who want a kind of Pan-slavic state or at least a pan-former soviet state) an independent Ukraine will always be used as a wedge against Russia by the western powers, even with a friendly government coups can always happen.

What is the goal of the West, now that the Russia has launched an invasion?

First, nobody in the Western governments cared about Ukraine yesterday. Nobody cares today. The Western powers want Russia to become bogged down in a long war of attrition a la Afghanistan. Russia's demographics are in decline; she cannot replace her losses. Should enough gopniks be gutted by old Ukrainian fishwives, Poland, Finland and the Baltic States will have a fighting chance in the next Northern war, which (take out your betting slips) is coming.

Ukraine will lose this war decisively despite the frothing media coverage. That's the point - the weapons being sent now by the West are intended to be used during a guerrilla campaign.

Because the Americans have decided they do not want to be world police, there is now a geopolitical vacuum. Countries such as Russia are waking up and acting like real countries again. Hence, the most consequential thing to come out of this war will not be anything related to Ukraine itself, but rather German rearmament. Soon, Germany will act like Germany. France is already acting like France, etc. The Franco-Germany alliance will break because they have very different interests in very different spheres. In the long term, Germany and Russia will reorder Eastern Europe according to their own interests, as they have done every other time. This war, I suspect, is a last hurrah for a united NATO.

Some final rambling points: the people who hated you yesterday, hate you today. Remember Media companies have been struggling because their output of Soviet-style black propaganda and distilled fatuity is no longer a money maker. Yet, wars are popular and real STALKER is going to sell as much as video game STALKER. The oversell is desperation.

My hopes for the future are just that America comes out of the next couple decades in a form the Founding Fathers would recognize, and that the rest of the world manages to hold onto their butts as everything starts changing.

In my circles, a lot of people are advocating for donations towards charities that claim to be buying military equipment for the Ukrainians. I think this, more than any of the Marvel posting, epitomizes how the urban bugman thinks. They have zero clue how goods are produced and transported. From talking to them, it sounds like they think the Ukraine military can just go to the store in “Kyiv” and buy thermal sights, body armor, guns, etc. It never occurs to these virtue signalers that goods don’t just appear in a country, they have to be brought in. If these charities are legit, which I strongly suspect they aren’t, all they can do is try to straw purchase small quantities of export controlled items in another EU country and smuggle them in. Why go through all that effort though when every Western government is giving stuff away for free? It seems like a waste of money to donate to these groups.

The historical view of what was in the document came from one person - Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski - who testified for
the prosecution at the Nuremburg War Crimes trials in exchange for himself not being put on trial. He claimed that
Himmler had personally told him that 20 or 30 million slavs would be exterminated and that was the basis of
Generalplan Ost. No other witness confirmed this.

There have been reconstructions of what was supposedly in Generalplan Ost out of other documents. But they are not the
original document.

Erich von dem Bach-Zelewski was in charge of the suppression of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and was responsible
for the destruction of Warsaw. Some people might ask how it would be possible to not put him on trial for that or why
he was protected from being sent to Poland or the Soviet Union for trial there. But its best probably not to ask.

He was eventually put in prison in 1958 for killing fellow nazis in the 1930s. But never stood trial ANYTHING he did
in poland. You can't make this stuff up.
