In my circles, a lot of people are advocating for donations towards charities that claim to be buying military equipment for the Ukrainians. I think this, more than any of the Marvel posting, epitomizes how the urban bugman thinks. They have zero clue how goods are produced and transported. From talking to them, it sounds like they think the Ukraine military can just go to the store in “Kyviv” and buy thermal sights, body armor, guns, etc. It never occurs to these virtue signalers that goods don’t just appear in a country, they have to be brought in. If these charities are legit, which I strongly suspect they aren’t, all they can do is try to straw purchase small quantities of export controlled items in another EU country and smuggle them in. Why go through all that effort though when every Western government is giving stuff away for free? It seems like a waste of money to donate to these groups.

for the destruction of Warsaw. Some people might ask how it would be possible to not put him on trial for that or why
he was protected from being sent to Poland or the Soviet Union for trial there. But its best probably not to ask.

He was eventually put in prison in 1958 for killing fellow nazis in the 1930s. But never stood trial ANYTHING he did
in poland. You can't make this stuff up.

The reconstructed Generalplan Ost document actually does detail an expulsion of non ethnic Germans, but simply from the former imperial German territories as to not suffer a repeat of 1918.

Now there were several proposals for what to do in the east, but that's all they were, proposals. Meanwhile actual policy was to arm every slav willing to fight for Germany. It would have been impossible for the Germans to police captured Soviet territory without the Hiwis.

Okay, but where has this actually been practiced? Even if there is one man for every ten women - this is as far as I know a hypothetical scenario and even if done, it's only applicable in advanced or semi-advanced states. This would have been impossible for hunter-gatherers, for example. Hunting would have to be done constantly, without brake, ensuring a quick death from exhaustion for the remaining men and the women, because there wouldn't be many men of the tribe and they will be rearing children, will be more vulnerable and will not be able to gather food. It's honestly kind of stupid to even bring up.
