First of all, I can't imagine what kind of shit hole college gave her a degree. Where I am studying, one of the top universities in my country, it's very, very different. First day of class in an MA course the professor says: "this is NOT a safe space, there are NO trigger warnings, we will read difficult academic articles that will challenge all of your beliefs, and no one cares about your feelings".
"Educating your professors" is very different from the way Natty is presenting it. In academia, no one cares about your impression of the world, gender studies also follows the scientific method. In some ways, I do know more than my advisor about the topic I am researching, because I am the one doing the research, my advisor is there to point out my weak arguments, and any time I say something that my professor does not already know (or whenever I am "educating" my professor), the answer I get is: "email me the article where you saw that". If Natty's professors let her sperg about shit without presenting evidence, or previous research to back her up, then she had really shitty professors.
In MA courses, professors have a tendency to give super high grades on regular work, this also happens to me. But these grades don't really mean anything, it's just bureaucratic nonsense. What does actually have meaning is your thesis. And this is why I doubt Natty wrote a thesis or ever published anything in a scientific journal: despite my super high grades in all my classes, my advisor rips apart my thesis every time I submit a new draft, I've rewritten the whole thing at least ten times so far, and will probably have to rewrite many more times. My advisor is a serious academic professor, and we know that for my thesis to be accepted to converted to an academic article and published in an academic journal with high credibility, it has to be perfect. Every argument must be written with logic.
The whole reason we go to conferences is for networking and to improve our research. At a conference you want to get phone numbers, find people that can help you advance your work, get an outsider to critically analyze your work, and improve it. When you go to a conference, those are not people you will never see again, those are the people who can give you a future in academia.
Everyone has their work ripped apart during the discussion session, that's the whole reason we present our work to peer scholars, to help us find how to improve. If Natty can't handle it, she should stay far far away from academia.
Jargon is generally seen as nonsense. Anyone that uses a big word or abstract concept is immediately told to explain the meaning, or go back to the literature. In academia, NEVER say something if you do not completely understand what you are talking about, as in, you can actually explain yourself clearly.
Finally, there actually is a lot a person can do with a degree in Gender Studies. Indeed, it is a very flexible degree.
The job market is full of jobs that require a "liberal arts graduate", any kind of job that deals with people. Government offices, NGO's, big corporations, etc. But the initial salaries are pretty low. A high salary can be achieved after spending a decade at the same place, working you way up. Remember, there's a huge chunk of jobs that you only learn by actually doing the job, many things no university can teach you. The problem with people like Natty is that they don't like working hard, they want everything handed to them, because they are such special snowflakes...
I am so glad my University doesn't have any of these types, they usually drop out after their first year. The worst thing we have is the vegan activists, at least they try to convert us by handing out free food on campus.

I'm suspecting that Nady wasn't getting enough attention from Daddy, and thought that since he pays attention to his Autistic patients, that pretending to be a sperglord would get him to notice her. And you missed the point of my post, which in no way involves Naty moving back home. I was mentioning ways Naty could possibly get positive attention from her parents that don't involve her acting like a stereotypical woman (that she denies being) and playing mind games with them to get them to react to whatever bullshit she's pulling.

For that to happen, she'd need to act normal and she doesn't want to be normal. What people like Naty don't get is that if you go to school, get good grades, get a job, get marry, and have babies, your parents would be way happier and prouder of you than if you were some internet thot.
There is definitely a reason why Nat wants to be special and is desperate for her parents' attention, but I personally can't figure out yet why. There are many boring kids who become boring normal adults and live ok lives and have good relationships with their families. Maybe her parents worked too much when she was a kid and she resented that.
When you see her older videos, you can see how she kept telling her mom (not her dad) that she was first queer, then pan, then trans, and all that. And this didn't impress her. And she was mad because this didn't impress her. It was only in school when her antics caused a reaction and that's why she doubled down to the point of sending her nudes "by mistake". I think my theory of them being "ok, sweetie" wasn't entirely wrong, except her father was like this because, psychologically speaking, there was nothing "wrong" with Naty and he knew well it was all a phase.
