Good to know.

On different note, I ran across this earlier to today:

And wanted to ask does Putin seriously sit that far away from his advisors? Other photos appear to corroborate it:
So what the fuck is up with that? Is he that terrified of being assassinated? Or just that paranoid about catching covid or something?
Unlike Zelensky, Putin is working for Public Health™️ by socially distancing.

If they all sit together while he sits apart it could be a way of him trying to show power and authority. Something like "Look how far away you are all from me and my position in charge." . That is just an assumption though, it could be a range of things from paranoia to COVID protocols though honestly.

No, bro. You don't get it. Ukraine wanting to join NATO means that NATO was totally going to invade Russia. The globohomos of weak and useless NATO forced Putin's hand. He had no choice.

It was the only way.
I think the comment he was replying to was more along the lines of "hey maybe we shouldn't WWIII with Russia and get a bunch of Americans killed" and less "Russia dindu nuffin Putin 4D chess master Ukrop surrender imminent"

TFW you remember the OICW and the xm-8 were a thing.
The OICW failed FORCE-XXI testing hard. I mean, it was great in the controlled tests, but you handed it to one of the AD guys who were tapped to test shit and they broke that shit so fast it wasn't even funny.

The XM-8 you knew was fucked from the get-go.

"OK, you can turn this thing into a battle rifle, an SMG, a carbine sniper rifle, and a light machinegun! All of it can be done by the unit armorer using these nine thousand parts and fifteen special tools!"
>Armorer opens the box, it all falls on the floor
>Infantryman strips down rifle and accidentally explodes
>Ammunition loads backwards and shoots a PAC clerk in the face

They need to start remembering: The more moving parts, the more bells and whistles, the less time it lasts in the hands of a barely literate semi-sober dipshit

They also need to remember: It's all well and good till the batteries don't show up in the next supply shipment

Wanting even more lethal responses towards Russia over Ukraine will just provoke Russia. The US has no business in Ukraine.
My past comments are solely to be taken from the perspective of Ukraine. Russia is not trying to take America's chocolate milk after all.

This is something the entire Slapfight here and on the world stage is missing. The position of Ukraine. A country that just few days ago was going about its business and now has to deal with the sound of air raid sirens screaming.

Hell, the entire reason there is a war now is because nobody bothered to factor Ukraine itself into this dispute.

Yeah i assume some idiot political consultant has decided it conveys power in the same way Tory Power Stance was a thing

NATO could have not toppled the Ukrainian government, it could have been less hostile to Russia in the 2000s, and Ukraine could have been less retarded and aggressive towards Russia in recent years.

Fact is, both sides have been escalating this shit for a long time and the only possible outcomes were war, Russia capitulating, or a sober bilateral attempt at a lasting solution, which NATO certainly wasn’t eager to pursue.
NATO MAN BAD, RUSSIA GOOD.

So to recap, what it Ukraine's official position on chocolate milk?

Give the chicken hawks chicken feathers. That's what I'm getting at, not shaming men into fighting a destructive and pointless war. The Ukraine issue is not worth engulfing humanity in a war that will cause misery, death and pain throughout the world because a bunch of corrupt, venal and disgusting politicians didn't want to cut back on their grift in that country when it threatened Russia.
Agreed. . The cat is right there's no winners in war. Only rich bankers

It's as if a few people in this thread can't conceptualize anything beyond the most superficial black/white good/bad conception of morality.

They're trying to apply interpersonal conflict morality to fucking geopolitics and it's just bizarre that they can't grasp a whole other set of vitally important principles at work.
