Cartoon Industry thread - Showcasing the Spergery of the Animation Industry

Yeah, not to mention a lot of other people who also worked for animation were pretty much against the idea of it when it was first announced.

Rebecca's tweet is especially funny considering she used to be known for this.

So you wonder how they all feel now that The Reboot is still gonna come out.
You know the old saying? Those who project turned out to be monsters themselves

Remember how the creator of this was fired for being an sex pest around the office?

I'd also like to mention The other guy who replaced Page afterwards also worked on Twelve Forever with Julia Vickerman, and once retweeted a petition from Antifa.

And keep in mind, this was tweeted during the Wi-Spa protests, and a month before a member of So-Cal Antifa stabbed an Anti-Vaccine protester in Los Angeles...

Edit: This person that Rothbell retweeted actually worked for Cartoon Network as well from around 2017 to 2021, her real name is Therisse Amunatigui and she mainly worked as an Post-Production Assistant for every CN show that aired around that time

It would be good to make this just an industry thread. A lot of show creators now are lolcows because they can’t stop posting hot takes on Twitter.

One of the biggest cows is the creator of the She-Ra reboot. She trooned out and posts comics about how her current girl friend basically cucked her and isn’t even into women. Suddenly the trooning all adds up.

From what I remember, he stated he supposedly lost a bet to some other people on the team and they had him do this as punishment or something.

More than likely bullshit, but that does tell me that they not only allowed this, but more than likely actively encouraged it.

Also wasn't the character himself like an older teenager? Blossom is supposed to be a kindergartner.

Not that it's any better but they're in like 3rd or 4th grade in the reboot. So, just if anything it tells you what age range to keep your kids away from him.

Yes, but he was disowned because at the time half the story he said was basically he said she said and 4Chan found the person who got interviewed by him based on records and tweets on who said worker is.
Yeah, one of those videos was talking about Luke... a crazy guy which was banned from the animation industry for being schizo.
I remember some fanarts about him with Pearl from SU. Even he drawed a comic about a kid and a tall cowgirl in the wild west or something worse.
He for a long time posted in /co/ about many things about the industry but generally he always throw off by the anons. Gold times indeed.

That guy is legendary cringe. He didn’t just draw him and Pearl together but drew Ian and Rebecca approving it. Imagine finding that on a crew member’s desk I’d be so creeped out.

The union movement is the people in the industry are trying to get artists and animation writers better pay from what I've read about that. It is a little surprising they're not doing anything about bringing back work to the USA in terms of animation being done in the USA rather then relying on either Canada or someone from the Philippines to do it.

And given Russia is going to nuke half the planet. You would think they would used that to get animations back made in America. Hmm? 🤔

Found a fag who loves bird girl. Guess what happens next?

I’ll give them a week until they closed down.

I have a sincere question: why do all of these fuckers obsess over prom night as if it's this grand right of passage that separates children from adults? The music sucks, no one can dance, and the only action one can hope for is sloppy oral.
