I’m trying to research both sides but it’s very difficult to find Russian sources that aren’t official, while Ukrainian or adjacent profiles are being plastered everywhere.

Rather than "conventional" explosives that are flammable material plus oxydiser to create the blast they use atmospheric oxygen which created a large vacuum before blowing outwards. It creates a longer pressure wave with hotter temperatures, good for wrecking bunkers and buildings.

With Twitter it's hard to see who are real Ukrainians cus we have LARPers and yes there is other media but in all honesty I feel Russia is getting the most end of the stick cus censoreship and all of that crap. I don't think it's so much censorship as much as it is the Russian military practicing phone discipline. A lot of GIs in the ME were giving away their geodata with gadgets so most professional militaries ban them in the field to stop their guys getting tracked in realtime. Granted they aren't doing pat downs for contraband but at the same time young enlisted guys aren't going to whip out their phones for sweet tiktok vids if that means the king gopnik SNCO might see you and bash your phone to bits. This could be why we see so little video footage from the Russian side.

It has probably been explained in this thread before, but “Nazi” means something a bit different in the “East” than it does to us. For much of Eastern Europe and Russia in particular the colloquial usage of “Nazi” essentially boils down to “Westerner that has attacked/wants to attack us.” If you consider the historical perspective of a nation such as Russia, this will make much more sense. To them, NATO are quite literally Nazis.

Though they aren’t NATO, Azov Battalion in the Ukraine doesn’t really help dispel that perception, either.
