The reason everybody shit talks Chinese and Russian gear is that their new toys (that are totally gonna fuck up the west this time) have consistently proven to be a bunch of overblown shit. Either their capabilities massively overstated or so expensive and complicated that they cannot be deployed in the numbers needed.

Again and again and again this has happened.

Worse then that they spend all their military budget acquiring the toys and allocate nothing for the cost of using them. I am mad on behalf of the Russian soldiers here. They weren't even told they were invading a country, and when they did go in ran out of fuel on the first day. The Russian Air Force apparently didn't get the memo there would be a war and didn't allocate enough fuel to provide saturation cover. Which means a third rate enemy air force with 10% of the on paper jets Russia has is STILL flying combat missions. And let's not even get into the fact they launched an air assault on an airport, didn't tell the troopers what they were doing and promptly got their asses handed to them by fucking airport security and the local gopnik gangs.

A consistent pattern of fuck ups is emerging here.

However, any good General Staff has such plans on the books, ready to go, with modifications as directed. Such plans should also long since have been in the hands of the major commands.
