In Europe that would require Germany pulling their head out of their ass. According to the articles I'm reading the shift away from Gas Powerplants isn't even due for another 30 years. And other European countries are actually leaning into Gas Powerplants. No one is going to do shit on the ground in Ukraine since it threatens their entire powergrid. All they have is sanctions and bad media play against Russia.

This reminds me of how Ian from Forgotten Weapons got shit barely a fucking month ago for doing a fundraising project to help publish the memoirs of an Azov fighter from the first dust-up in Ukraine 8 years ago. Bunch of people spazzed out over Azov's background and pressured the publishing company he was thinking of using into dropping the guy's manuscript. I mean it's funny -- if he had just waited a few weeks that fucking book would be fully funded and on its way to being a best seller. I guarantee the same faggots whinging at Ian and the Azov guy's book are on their social media accounts fellating Azov and Zelensky right now.

Not quite, Ian runs his own publishing company. His crowdfunding platform dropped him and another one of his authors, who is a patriotic Russian, withdrew his book after learning about the memoir. That is likely the real reason for Ian canceling the project as I doubt he cares about a handful of antifa trannies or a woke crowdfunding site since the book reached its funding goal before it was pulled.

Here's my odds from most likely to least likely of how this is going to end while still being fairly probable to happen because news is still coming in slow

1. Russia wins, makes the entirety Ukraine a puppet while annexing the Donbass region, puppet regime very unlikely to lost more than 5 years as Russia will collapse financially right after and any pro-Russian sentiment in Ukraine is dead at this point.

2. Russia decides to call it quits after managing to capture Kyiv and still encountering harsh resistance in the west regions, decides to only puppet Eastern Ukraine including Kyiv, Donbass will get annexed, puppet regime might last longer but will still collapse relatively quickly because the invasion has killed any pro-Russian sentiment.

3. Putin loses his nerve and decides to agree to a peace if the breakaway states are expanded to encompass all of Donbass and are recognized by Ukraine, recongnize Crimea as Russia, and for most of the severe sanctions being immediately lifted by at least the EU, will probably only happen with Kyiv not taken with the western regions still holding strong by the end of week 3.

My progressive acquaintances are looking at increased gas prices as a silver fucking lining to the Ukraine war. They literally don't care one bit if those higher prices plunge millions here into poverty - they low key think that's a feature too since they need an economic collapse to usher in socialism.
