This is AC deciding that they can't overlook piracy on their watch and/or the host company — either FANZA or the production Ichika works at — making a complaint on her behalf.

It’s actually depend on how much the “copyright autism” JP side willing to embrace. I can see he’s getting fire as an example. Keep in mind that JP had been super draconian about media copyright and they can’t do much about oversea copyright issues beside manage to closedown Kissanime domain. Right now most of their media getting pirate via uploading on porn website that base in non DMCA trade partner lie Russia, Bangladesh etc.

I can see those DMCA purists will use this opportunity to demand the guy get fired (it’s only early so Niji won’t lose much beside a few bad PRs).

If Rushia get sacked for violating NDAs, I don’t see how the lad won’t get sacked for violating JP DMCA laws. The JP “save face” culture will decide his fate.
