Lol how would that law even work in practice? First off, your average kid doesn't know how to set up a doctor's appointment, let alone have a way to get there without their parent. I suppose the kid could go in to the doctor for a regular check up, then talk to the doctor in private about starting hormones, but you'd still have the problem of getting the prescriptions filled and hiding them from your parents. Even if you can hide your doctor visit and hide your pills/needles, how are you going to hide the results on your body?

Like just imagine being a parent in this situation: "Hmm why is my daughter suddenly growing a beard and her voice is getting deeper?" Imagine how angry the parents will be when they find out the doctors gave this without proper testing and without the parent's knowledge or consent. What doctor would actually want to deal with the fallout from angry parents and future lawsuits?

Agreed and this "trans kid or dead kid" cliche makes me MATI. It's so gross how hard they're trying to convince kids that their only alternative is to kill themselves. We know statistically that glorifying and reporting on suicides makes kids more likely to attempt it themselves, so imagine your whole life being told nonstop by the media and culture apparatus that your only options are "life-saving care" or suicide.

Erin's troon voice is by far my least favorite of all the troon lolcows I follow. Kevin Gibes and Johnathan Yaniv are the types of troons that don't even try, so it's funny but not unsettling. Then you have troons like Blaire White and Samantha Lux. Both don't really sound like women, but they don't sound terrible. At least I can see what they're trying to do and they put the effort in to sound as natural as they can.

That video explains why Erin's voice is so god awful. His voice sounds like he's trying to be funny but then you realize this is his serious attempt at sounding like a girl. When you add up his greasy hair, fucked up teeth, clearly male face, and then hear his attempt at sounding like a teen girl, it just activates your fight or flight response. I cannot imagine what being with him in person is like.
