But somehow people have this weird idea that it's ok when Russia does it to it's own population to stoke irrational fear and paranoia of the west. Their NPCs get programmed too. It's all a load of horseshit. All of it.
It's not about whether they're deceived or not - it's what they're likely to do and support given what they believe.

People in the west are fucking morons duped by government and media, but that doesn't mean I'm not concerned they're going to start World War III out of idiocy.

You think it's a secret that Russians have been afraid of invasions out of the west for 700 years? It's not

Although those invasions have always failed whether it was Germans or Swedes or French or Germans again, the Huns and Mongols coming from the east were the invasions that were actually successful

If hurr durr we afraid justifies Vlad daddy's excellent blunder that has made all of Europe afraid of him - and not in the 'we're so afraid we don't dare cross him' way, more like 'we're so afraid we must hurt him as badly as we can with our Murican frens so he can't do it to us' - I guess Muricans being afraid of jihadis under the bed justifies kicking Saddam's shit in and unleashing 20 years of multifaceted Muslim civil war across two continents too. We were afraid! So it's all good
It doesn't necessarily actually justify it, but in their minds it does, which is just as relevant.

Boring AF false flag, after all the bullshit these past few years I demand at least an assassinated globo.
It's unfortunate but Soros is going to outlive us all.
Shame.

Also, sorry if that was there, but check this:

Depends, If we go what i've heard called "multipolar" or whatever, the idea of a china/russia/x alignment could be pretty important to offset any sanctions. The bank stuff and shutdown of air space to russia will/has fucked them up pretty bad already. It makes me wonder how prepared russia was going into this, did they divest of the ruble (i've read about them shorting that.. not sure how that works or if it's even possible)

No matter what though, it has hurt them. But in ways, the price of oil for one, there are probably offsets.
And I also wonder if we’re going to see Russians be forced into things like the Russian Mafia, or Russian terrorists attack the West in retaliation for all this shit, or if Chechen separatists will mobilize and attack since all these actions have affected their interests.

Putin knew exactly how and who in the west would respond.

He was right.

I have spent a couple of hours a day before naps calling my globohomo buddies to make sure we all tweet about how we hate Russia. Now twitter and reddit users are saying mean things about him.
Meanwhile, /pol/ is sending coordinates of a Ukrainian unit position that was also being considered the site of a pride parade. Air strikes and snipers on standby.

Other than the link saying that they fire from schools
You haven't provided any proof Hamas fires from schools.

lol I just browsed the front page and realized it's a pro Israeli propaganda site. Right on cue, just after I said it was Israeli propaganda you respond by sending me a link to a pro Israeli NGO site.

One thing I absolutely hate about the Ukraine fanboys in this thread is the weird personalization of geopolitics they do.

“Russia is a bully”
“Russia is a jilted lover”
“Russia just doesn’t want to let Ukrainians make their own choices”

It’s bizarre. Russia probably believes that allowing Ukraine to become another American puppet in Eastern Europe is destructive to its long term interests. Putin is paranoid and a gambler, so he opted for a preemptive attack when he saw NATO and Ukraine do joint military exercises in 2021 and saw the writing on the wall.

Just for everybody’s information: countries that aren’t great powers are not actually sovereign and are generally indirectly ruled by great powers. America successfully seized power in Ukraine a decade ago, and now Russia is trying to take it back. “Ukrainian independence” is meaningless and whoever controls media in Ukraine will manufacture public opinion in the long term.
Its easy to say that but Eastern European countries still remember how life looked like under Ruskies. It ended about 30 years ago, people who were alive back then are still alive now.
No one wants to live like that willingly.
Not if there is a choice.

If it was any other country then propably Ukraineans wouldn't give much fucks, as long as they d treat them humanely.

But you're saying things that are almost provably false. They are shelling some cities indiscriminately with artillery, not smart bombs. Just because they don't have the capacity to do 1,000 sorties doesn't necessarily mean that they're being careful. You may be attributing to compassion what could be better attributed to current inability.
They're not shelling indiscriminately, that's literally a lie. If they were shelling indiscriminately Ukrainian cities would be rubble and there would be massive casualties the media would make sure we knew about. I doubt Russia are suddenly incapable of what they did in Chechnya, they're currently more powerful than they were then.

I'm not attributing anything to compassion, I think they probably wanna prop up a friendly regime when they topple the current one and killing 10's of thousands of Ukrainians and destroying cities wouldn't engender any sympathy for that. They want the Ukrainian army intact as a potential ally, hence the encirclements and not destroying the encircled forces. I'm not an expert, it's just my schizo theory but we'll have to wait and see.

But somehow people have this weird idea that it's ok when Russia does it to it's own population to stoke irrational fear and paranoia of the west. Their NPCs get programmed too. It's all a load of horseshit. All of it.
Have you been paying attention Western politics for the last 6 years? Russia has every reason to be paranoid of the West. They're portrayed as the new boogeyman in place of Islamic terrorists. The only difference is America and her allies wouldn't be able to curbstomp Russia like they're Iraq or Libya.
