When Americans were bitching among each other whether or not to let their own blacks to attend universities, Russia was inviting blacks from all over Africa to Moscow to study for free.

The fact that Americans couldn't get integration and race relations right after 50 years of civil rights struggle doesn't mean other countries haven't. At least to an extent (The 90's with the economic collapse saw an uptick in racial violence that by now has died down).

I think you're ignoring the perception people have of Russia vs the actuality. In most Americans minds, especially progressive, they view it as a white reactionary country that imprisons people for having gay sex. The only exception to this is Chechens, but most people only know they exist because of a famous MMA fighter.

Since the whole of Russia is viewed as a white conservative country, the NPCs can go full xenophobic without restraint.

Of course, hosts didn't believe her and despite this video being shared on Twitter, it seems to be marked as "unacceptable content". All true, but here we have the case of opposites as well, reactionary /pol/tards x2 using Russia as some kind of white ethnostate shielding them from the "globohomo" agenda. And although the later is (to what ever extent this conspiracy exists) partly true, the former has no relation to it.


But obviously this also stems from the decades old dismemberment of the political left in America, leaving it as neutered and fairly extreme social-agenda driven movement rather than remaining any threat to the economic interests of that countries elites.
Which then gets the other side in the political spectrum to pick contrarian positions to everything that left represents. Forming deeply flawed world views, like the one referenced above.

Jesus Christ, no one imprisons anyone there for donut punching, the deal is with spreading shit like "hey, being gay is so much better than being straight, and being trans is even better, straight people are mean and narrowminded, gay people are creative and kind" among children and teens, but even then it's not a felony, just a misdemeanor i.e. you pay fine, pick up trash for several hours and walk free.
