did nobody bother to spend 3 minutes to check if the trannyposts are actually legit?

is it too much to ask for people to check posts that are still live to see if it was just an element replace?

Just to add onto this, the Russian forces following this to the letter and the infighting between Ukraine's military and marauders are contributors for the deaths of the volunteers. Current death toll on Reddit's merc army sits at 1+. Some grains of salt might be needed for these since they list the usernames that are deceased, and said deceased might be listed by full name, but may or may not be associated with the use of Reddit.

While the original content of the posts are scrubbed either by its OP or by the moderator, a cached page made by Google has archived them. Since it's too late to archive the posts directly at this time, I thought to archive the Google-cached pages of them just in case if something were to happen to those as well.

Google Cache version.
Archive (a bit scuffed since I'm a dumb newfaggot).

Meanwhile, someone claims that a video is floating around that shows visual proof of more dead volunteers. If someone can get that and upload it onto the thread, that'll be great.

Claim of video existence.

Archive (once again, a bit scuffed).

A shame really. These volunteers have it good to live a more peaceful life in the West - to continue on and preserve their family tree. What they did instead was throw their lives away for a cause that's near pointless - a cause created by the Ukranian government's ineptitude at keeping the country neutral. Some don't seem to bother bringing their own personal ID (passports and such) with them, and are clueless when it comes to personal finance. Nothing but pity to all of them.
Kinda gives new meaning to "dead-naming", amirite?

Thanks, I'll be here all week.

Good catch, I'll add a disclaimer. Honestly though anything in this thread sourced from reddit should be taken with a grain of salt, /pol/ found the subreddit a couple days ago with predictable consequences. It's hard to draw the line between genuine retardation and trolling.

So, this video was going around last night.

The story is that a Reddit freedom fighter went to Ukraine and posted a picture of himself in that school gym for updoots. Russians saw it, IDed the school, then went in and killed everyone in there.
Will we get a Internet Historian or Whang! video on this?

This is Coach Red Pill levels of narcissistic stupidity.
The Ukrainians should put all the Redditors into their own unit and use them as decoys. Keep them away from actual Ukrainians, and use the Redditors as bullet magnets to lure the Russians away from their real fighters. If they have basic levels of intelligence, they will do exactly this. Mixing the Redditors in with their real fighters will just get Ukrainians killed because of stupid shit like this.

F
Who would win: an already-hardened group of Eastern European Criminals, thoroughly dedovshchina'd conscripts from poor shitholes, and murderous Chechens all backed up with superior equipment VERSUS

A group of pansy little first worlder's who've experienced all the hardship of a Hobbit missing elevensies. These faggots 100% don't seem to realize the most likely way this ends if getting lined up, shot, dumped in a mass grave and said to have "gone MIA, woops!" If not because the Russians do it, but because their new Ukrainian "friends" finally get sick of them.

From reading that reddit it's very clear that many of them think dying is the worst thing that can happen to you, and they clearly don't have much respect for that proposition either.

They would actually be lottery tier lucky if all that happened was they were captured and lined up and shot.
That's not to include likely nearly starving to death before getting captured, people will rob and rape them (probably more likely if they are men), they will be lucky if they find one other person likely from America to make friends with before they realize that they actually learned what "being alone" truly means.

A quick death after all of that inevitability of being an unsupported weak bitch in a war zone would be the biggest blessings of their worthless lives.

That's part of why I made this thread. Even if we don't get redditors with GoPros on the front lines, I'm sure we will get plenty of content just from the people who get scammed at the border, stranded in Poland, arrested by the TSA for trying to smuggle guns, etc.

I bet there's only a handful of these Redditors that actually have a passport, and even less that have the balls to actually go into a warzone. Most of those 16,000 volunteers are probably from Eastern Europe.
This is also not a new phenomenon, in 2015 there were around 1,000 volunteers from Belarus, Georgia, India, UK and Canada fighting in Ukraine. As a volunteer, you don't get any legal rights in Ukraine, volunteering doesn't pay and you're not allowed to work, get married, or own property. Unless you want to end up homeless in a country where you're not allowed to legally work, you need to be independently wealthy.

I don’t know why anyone bothers to troll that subreddit. The worst thing you can do is encourage them to go to Ukraine
Because making people assmad is more fun and rewarding when they stay alive so you can continue to laugh at them on the internet.

Bruh how do you not understand this on a forum entirely about laughing at people on the internet?
