I assume absolutely none of this is genuine and anyone making posts is trolling or doing the most basic of virtue signaling, but I would like to add that most countries will charge its citizens with a crime and probably will not repatriate you if you leave to fight in a foreign war as a soldier of fortune. As previously noted in the thread, mercenaries have no right to combatant status and will not be held as prisoners of war - this is not just Russia's decision but is part of the Geneva conventions of war.

In short, if you go overseas to go kill soldiers of a country your country is at peace with, don't expect to come back.

In regards to America it's largely unenforced. I have a high school friend who joined the French Foreign Legion. He served a few years and has returned to America.

The willingness of Western audiences to fight this war is genuinely baffling. If Biden wanted it, he could easily declare a no-fly over Ukraine with no political fallout! All those fools ignore that we have come incredibly close to a nuclear war. Putin is not the kind of man that tolerates humiliation well. We are witnessing a worse form of jingoism than that of the summer of 1914. Those individuals will shit themselves once they hear the first shell explode (like most of us would do), and they will beg their countries to save them. I can not imagine the reaction of those poor Ukrainian soldiers when they witness them...

Moreover, there are serious practical issues. It is well known (and someone posted an infographic before further hinting at it) that the Ukrainian Army lacks enough rifles and ammunition to even arm its own reservists. How are those fools going to find enough ammunition or food to supply themselves? Why would Ukrainian soldiers share their rations with some obese entitled degenerates?

Dunno, a no fly zone means a willingness to shoot down Russian aircraft. I prefer to let the Transgender Death Head Battalion to do their thing.
