The fact that you give credence to this idea is surprising, honestly.



If this does happen, it would either lead to support for Ukraine quickly drying up as civilized European nations don't want to be associated with a government of terrorists, or it would lead to a doubling down and Western media spin on what's happening as "brave Ukrainian freedom fighters striking the invader where it hurts the most, their civilians", which would be pretty mind blowing to see.

In any case, that would escalate the situation and cause more Ukrainian citizens to die as it would undoubtedly strengthen the resolve of the Russian military and civilians. Who is going to sympathize with terrorists who kill people who just want to go to work in their crumbling country?

Like to think this isn't correct, but history also gives us examples of Russian perfidy. Now don't believe you can put anything past the Putin regime. Public executions would make them no better than terrorists themselves.

Again, asymmetrical warfare. Attacks could come at critical transport nodes, which I'm sure Russia has. Maybe power plants or power distribution centers.

The Russians have already escalated the situation, on top of launching an invasion. We'll see what happens. Anything can happen.

Makes you wonder how someone hasn't poisoned Putin yet, if he's such a risk to humanity. I mean the guy must eat. Maybe I just grew up with 007 films but I always had the suspicion that pretty much every nation on earth had agents in or near every government.
