THE APPELLATE COURT EXTENDED THE DEADLINE AGAIN, 4TH STRAIGHT TIME IN A ROW. New date for Russ' brief is 04/11. The order is from Mediation office.

Fun fact. Adding up all these delays, the brief was delayed in total of 3 months.

He has lawyers whose job it is to not forget.

Anyhow, logic would dictate that since it was filed by Mediation office that they are still in mediation, but I don't believe it makes sense that they would stick through 2 months of Court-schedulled(?) mediation given that no agreement or other results were reached. Seems like a waste of time and money. I mean, after all this time, it's clear it isn't working out.

Maybe they just don't want to deal with his bullshit filings and know an appeal is coming so they kicked the can down the road some more?

It does seem weird. I don't see what can still be mediated considering the strongly held positions by both sides. Especially now that Russhole is represented by politically motivated "public service" attorneys who hate fair use. and Glorious Leader is a strong free speech advocate. That seems like an uncrossable divide.

I was thinking Russell's response to Freemantle's beatdown was due soon but the court didn't want to hear how autistic it was so they kicked the deadline down the road so that there was a chance he would hire a proofreader or speak to a lawyer that could prevent him from going through with this

I hate to be a fuckin asshole but can you maaaybe do an archive/snapshot of reddit links when posting? When you first posted this I couldn't even see it because it was "unverified content" or whatever. Reddit on mobile is literally just "fuck you make an account or get the app" after scrolling down a few lines. Now on my computer at home I can see it.

They even blur out Russell's name because of some dumb reddit policy about doxing (I'm assuming). So they app-wall content that's deliberately less informative.

I dunno, just a due-diligence kind of thing. I'm not out to tell anyone what to do. Even twitter does this shit now where us heterosexuals can only scroll a few lines before it clears the screen and tells you to make an account.

Just checked again on mobile and it's still walled.
