IKEA to the rescue.
I think the stuff they are shipping to ukraine come from Saab-Bofors.

The Swedes make more than just meatballs.
Sweden is one of the biggest arms exporter per capita. only behind the Swiss and the Belgians. and unlike the US, People other than their own taxpayer buy their arms.

The scary thing is, that we may very well be on the path to becoming just like that scenario you just stated. And if we aren't careful, it WILL happen, and we'll have nobody to blame but ourselves.
Freedom is a very fragile thing and the West is probably far closer to losing it than many may believe and the last few years should have exemplified that in crystal clarity.

Recently, the opposition in Russia has started getting bolder. Now many are considering that the existing Russian flag is forever tainted by Putin's rule and should be replaced if the current government is ever ousted.

One design, inspired by a supposed Novgorodian flag, has started gaining some popularity and has already been seen in some protests, albeit mostly ones held abroad. It is supposed to represent Russia without bloodshed.

The funny thing is, this is the exact same colouring as that of most Russian police cars, the ones that will be picking these guys up if they try something like this in Russia itself.

Although, some of the memes this has spawned are pretty good.

I always get a kick out of seeing lefties faces when you explain Sweden helps fund itself with arms deals. Confuses the shit out of them since it doesn't fit their mental view of them.

I hope they can finish the other build; but I'm not hopeful on it being fruitful or successful :(
As far as I can make out, Antonov is now a soley Ukrainian outfit. So good luck with that.

But unless this idiotic war totally destroys Russia i'll have 10 BAT on Beriev building something more insane.

Hell that's if antonov even survives. No matter what happens Ukraines economy is going to take a hit, plus manufacturing infrastructure has probably taken some damage.

they are just worse at hiding their exports. Norway mostly sells parts so they dont show up on most lists, but on a good list they would have them much higher.
Belgium is the biggest legit arms dealer in the world.

I don't know about you, but despite how many taxes I've paid I haven't received a single gun or other arms system from the US government, all of it seems to go to GloboHomo defense forces.
Well egypt needs guns and the US taxpayer pays for them if they buy US weapons...

Well its not a bad idea, but thats not their flag, the original flag looks like the flag of other hanseatic city states.

Am I the only one who thought this looks straight out of Ace Combat countries' flag design?

Troonery besides:
>gee who does it hurt if we cut off online monetary transactions to another country?
>I know! Putin!

Like the British tried this shit in world war 1, by blockading the shit out of Germany so they'd starve and make it utterly intolerable to live, so to the point the people would demand their leaders stop the war.
Then they kept doing it for months after the ceasefire was called. President Hoover's (before he was president and had his calling card be the great depression) claim to fame was actually organizing an initiative to keep half of Germany from starving to death,

You know what the funny thing about that was, though?

It meant many children whose early memories involved being spitefully starved half to death by a foreign imperialist power became fans of a political party led by a fat homo and an austrian postcard painter.

And the AN-2 is, and always will be, the ultimate "duct tape and a hammer" go-anywhere bush aircraft.

I won't miss Ukrainian politics, or Ukrainian culture, or Ukrainian Thots, or even Mriya (that much), but losing the AN-2 would be a blow to the heart.
