For me the weirdest thing about Reynold's being what he is today is that I just remember him as the dorky back up guy that's there as a last resort in all the shitty rom coms my friends and I would watch in high school.

I feel like that's to be expected. It certainly isn't gonna be the next Up. I feel like Pixar's trying to capitalize on the Y2K nostalgia craze that was brought on by quarantine and Dua Lipa (and the twenty years thing) as well as the anime explosion (but for real this time).Turns out Turning Red was screened last week in London. So far the reviews for it have been mixed.

The more I look at it. It just looks like this was originally pitched as an animated film from Dreamworks, that somehow made its way to Pixar. Some of the people I know who've enjoyed Pixar have even made similar comparisons in terms of where the movie is going from the trailer alone.I feel like that's to be expected. Some fun trivia. The Jonas Brothers were advised to not watch this particular episode of South Park back when they were at Disney. They ended up watching it a few years later after they left the company and all three got a good laugh out of it.And a friend finally made me realize why all the boy bands and puberty stuff sounded so familiar.
It has similarities in that DreamWorks is known for making unconventional protagonists whether they're jerkasses or not at first (and they tend to become jerks later on from cockiness), but even the worst of DreamWorks had some kind of entertaining notion to them even in the trailers. I sense more Illumination influence than DreamWorks, honestly. Last Disney movie that was more along the lines of DreamWorks-esque was Chicken Little, though I swear Big Hero 6 was trying to be How to Train Your Dragon with superhero robots. The more I look at it. I will go out on a limb and say this movie doesn’t fit the style of any of the aforementioned companies and comes off more like a Warner/Turner production that you would see on modern Cartoon Network. Dreamworks has far too much of an edge and good animation for this. Illumination is shit, but it is sterile shit, so designs are at least decent enough to look at and just come off as forgettable. It has similarities in that DreamWorks is known for making unconventional protagonists whether they're jerkasses or not at first (and they tend to become jerks later on from cockiness), but even the worst of DreamWorks had some kind of entertaining notion to them even in the trailers. Pray tell, is it because Russia bad?Holy shit, Disney removed Anastasia from Disney+ like the gaywads they are.
Pray tell, is it because Russia bad?
Honselty it would have been funny if it was because "Russia Bad"In reality, no. It's going to another streaming service.
That's a relief, the timing was just stupidly suspect. Guess that means Anastasia is no longer a de-facto Disney princess. In reality, no. It's going to another streaming service.
They only did that in Hong Kong but if they remove this one... well, someone was reading up on Lenin's nationality policy, if you know what I mean. Will Disney+ remove this Simpsons episode like they did with the one that referenced Tiananmen Square?
Well, I doubt any of you were predicting there was gonna be a war. That's a relief, the timing was just stupidly suspect. Guess that means Anastasia is no longer a de-facto Disney princess.![]()

They're just salty that one of their former animators and rivals (Don Bluth) made a knock-off Disney Princess movie so flawlessly that people regularly mistook it for a Disney production for years, a confusion only amplified once they put it on Disney+. It's apparently going to Starz starting March 18th.That's a relief, the timing was just stupidly suspect. Guess that means Anastasia is no longer a de-facto Disney princess.![]()
I liked that time he was Deadpool and he killed Triple H, and that time he was Deadpool but was serious legit schizo with no super powers and his pets told him to kill peopleIt just seemed like another Ryan Reynolds movie as he plays Deadpool for the millionth time, but in a video game.
the voicing is shit but tbh the idea of leaving a message to the colony has been part of my ant control plans for a couple of decades so I can't hate that too hard
Marge voice actor sounds like one of those very sick people who warn you to quit smoking before it's too late!
I'll never get over the time whatever Eastern Bloc rando it was that Russia was stomping that week and they posted the gif of that on the official national twitter account. Will Disney+ remove this Simpsons episode like they did with the one that referenced Tiananmen Square?
