I think the Russian leadership in general has. The fact is this is an invasion of Ukraine by Russia with no indication that it would go further and a very different level of deterrence between invading Ukraine and invading NATO.

Another thought is that if NATO came running because Russia invaded a nonNATO member then what reason would anyone have for joining NATO and contributing/potentially having to defend someone else? You get all the defensive benefits of membership without any of the responsibilities.

Nuclear plants cannot go nuclear explosion. The reactor casing being breeched and the fuel catching fire would be a bad day for those downwind due to the radiation but there would be no mushroom cloud.

I think it's been well documented over the years.
AZOV/Aidar themselves have always been very open about their presence in those areas. They were also always open that they attracted a bunch of foreign mercenaries.

The most effective weapons of modern warfare are GPS-guided bombs, missiles, and artillery shells.
