Russian mercenaries are on the route to Ukraine to defeat the evil Nazis but:

Two Nazi groups being paid by two Jews to kill each other, what a yeeeaaaaar.

Probably late because I don't keep up with whore news, but apparently OnlyFans has banned all its Russian girls. That's like cheese.bitch banning all the accounts from Wisconsin.

Whenever some libertarian sperg or lying shitlib (same thing, effectively) gives you the ol' private company, all about the profits bullshit, remember this.

Well, I'm an idiot when it comes to warfare. So my question is why then we still have infantry? If it's so useless as you say, sure spending all those money on soldiers and their gear is dumb.
Infantry find the enemy, and then, they keep the enemy pinned in place until the JDAM or arty fire hits. Without infantry, you have no idea where the enemy are unless you use drones.

Drones cannot take and hold a captured area. They cannot build fortifications, or man guard posts, or walk patrols, or enter and clear buildings, or move supplies and ammunition. They cannot negotiate with civilians and give them direction. They cannot provide constant coverage; they need to RTB and refuel eventually.

Tank columns without infantry support are almost completely useless, especially in urban warfare, where shoulder-fired rockets and ATGMs can come from anywhere and turn your tank into a human barbecue.

But but but I thought Russia didn't want any mercenaries and volunteers in the fighting. These guys are gonna get brutally executed if they're captured.
I mean Ukrainian forces have already announced they won't be taking any Russian artilartillerymen prisoner despite what international law says so mercs that fall outside of that will definitely not be having a good time.

If anything man-portable could have shifted the outcome, it would have been Stingers, and lots of them.

What a lot of people don't realize is that most man-portable weapons are shit in general, and in modern warfare, rifle fire, on average, takes thousands of bullets of misses and suppressing fire before it kills one single person.

The most effective weapons of modern warfare are GPS-guided bombs, missiles, and artillery shells. Most firefights in the Sandbox consisted of US troops shooting literally thousands of bullets at dirt and sand before hooting and hollering "YEAH, GET SOME" as an F-16 screams overhead and drops a JDAM on whatever makeshift fortification insurgents were firing from. It's not like COD at all. Even ARMA fails to capture how utterly bullshit modern warfare is, with most enemy infantry conveniently standing silhouetted against hilltops or out in clearings and not hiding in ditches, behind low walls, or window sills like they would in real life. You cannot see shit. The only warning you have that a firefight has begun is the supersonic crack of a rifle bullet passing overhead, causing you to reflexively flatten yourself against the ground. This is immediately followed by a dozen men emptying their entire thirty-round mags in the direction where they thought the fire came from. That's 360 rounds right there that just hit precisely dick.

Rifles don't do shit. Missiles, shells, mines, bombs, and grenades do all the real work.
Yeah, I was recommended a few combat videos on Youtube some time ago and what you describe seems accurate.
It's the natural way of things, if you have a mounted machine gun or grenade launcher on a Humvee, why would you let those fuckers come close enough to spray you with their 40-year-old AKs?
The videos I have seen were very "spray this hill in particular" with 40mm grenades and suppressive fire until the nearest A-10 blasts the area with a small car's worth of depleted uranium.
On the other hand, that way you get less casualties.

Nuclear plants cannot go nuclear explosion. The reactor casing being breeched and the fuel catching fire would be a bad day for those downwind due to the radiation but there would be no mushroom cloud.
Seriously, how the fuck do people not know this?

I've never intentionally delved deeply into the nitty-gritty physics of nuclear power or nuclear weapons and I somehow culturally-osmosed the difference by the time I was in middle school.

It's called sanctions, dummy. Doing business with Russian companies outside of specific circumstances can get you in big trouble. Just like how I can't buy Iranian crude oil or North Korean kimchi. Doing business with them in certain jurisdictions is illegal. This is how economic sanctions work.

The first rider of the white horse is pestilence - manufactured covid, vaccine clot shot.
The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your pharmakeia all the nations were deceived.

I've actually heard that they send guys near the end of their contract to high risk zones to get out of paying them. If that's the case, they're gonna be getting some good savings.
