One of the most frustrating things about Covid is how randomly it seems to actually cause problems. My 90 year old grandpa tested positive twice, and neither time did he have symptoms. And how is the queen of England not dead… And my dad’s badly overweight, pre-diabetic, ect and Covid has only been “a bad but not serious” cold for him twice now.

Meanwhile, my friend’s grandpa is dead… my other friend’s dad was on a ventilator last I heard… 3rd friend’s dad is dead…

while we all know that age and obesity are the major obvious factors, the last major factor is vitamin D levels. You can't know what yours are without a blood test, and for whatever reason some people have trouble absorbing enough vitamin D even if they take more than what is recommended. If you throw in that last thing then it can't really be said to be random. It is on par with obesity for predicting severity.

telling people how to check and raise their vitamin D levels by itself would have been an invaluable intervention. I had read some critical care doctors trying huge doses of vitamin D for inpatients and it seemed to have helped in the case studies submitted, a trial would have revealed more but of course there is no money at all to be made off of such a study & there was already institutional bias against cheap repurposing so we probably won't find out, at least not for many years.

keeping vitamin d levels high actually seems to help with the severity of respiratory diseases in general, so colds and such aren't as miserable either.

I was with friends earlier and the subject of mask mandates came up. They pretty much all agreed that indoor mandates should be permanent.

are your friends ugly? masks have operated like a social equalizer for ugly people. noses, mouths, and chins have way more potential for ugly than eyes do so the advantage to them is greater than if everyone had covered up their entire face instead. I didn't want to learn sad things today.

While at the doctor's office, a lady stumbled out of the hall and into the waiting room, sobbing heavily because she was just diagnosed with breast cancer. From what I overheard, it runs in her family, so she was there for a routine checkup. She only had one benign tumor in the past. Today, she has multiple cancerous tumors. Between sobs I heard her say, "He said the shots were safe! I was scared and he said it was safe!" I'm not 100% sure if "he" is/was her doctor, but there was a clear violation of trust that was very upsetting for her on top of her diagnosis (that could have possibly been avoided for her entire life if it weren't for the Pfizer vax). I hope that whatever happens next, it will be a step towards recovery for her, both mentally and physically.

Remember kids, we still need to read the warnings labels and side effects on pill bottles because not everything is safe for everyone... except the experimental vax juice! Jab your sick father! When I saw my doctor, who has been against the experimental juice from the start, she informed me that there has been a massive spike in lymph node cancer among those who are maxxvaxxed. Guess what lymph nodes do? They filter out bad cells, including cancerous ones.

This has all been awful, and we're not at the end. We don't know what the next few years will hold.

Anyway, he's good people. Sure, we call each other stupid gay retards on Thanksgiving when we're arguing about who has the better mashed potato recipe, but that's our friendship. If Spike is integrated into the genome by reverse transcription and produced on a continuous basis, DNA repair and immune monitoring for cancer will be suppressed constantly. The only way to stop it is to silence the gene for the Spike somehow.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat. I'm the only one in my immediate family that dodged the vax entirely. My dad jumped on the vax train immediately and participated in the Pfizer clinical trial as I previously mentioned. He then proceeded to badger me about getting jabbed as soon as they opened it up to non-seniors, and refused to listen to basic logic (if I'd already caught it as the Red Cross confirmed when I donated blood, what good is a vaccine). Eventually I just had to lie about it to get him to shut up. I did my best to convince my mom not to go through with it, but she figured it was the path of least resistance since my dad would have kept pressuring her to do it too. He's ridiculously stubborn, once he's made up his mind about something there is absolutely no way to convince him otherwise.

My brother and his wife have been even more paranoid about the coof, to the point of holing up in their house for almost the entirety of the past two years and only venturing outside when they absolutely had to. She even jumped in line for the jab by claiming she was at risk due to her BMI; she's not a landwhale but kind of short and stocky so I don't know how that worked. Even my brother asked me about getting boosted out of the blue one day.

To my knowledge, none of them have had any really severe reactions, but I remain concerned about the long-term. I don't really want any of them to be hurt, but I'm slightly ashamed to say that a part of me would take delight in my dad getting burned by the jabs he cheered from the start. Only slightly, though, because man, he can be a real pain sometimes.

I've mentioned it previously too how I'm in the almost exact same boat. I avoided the jab successfully, got COVID (Omicron if I have to guess,) and easily survived it. Only member in my immediate family to not get the jab. Dad had two, mom and two older sisters all vaxxmaxxed. In all their cases, they didn't get COVID and have suffered no ill effects to my notice (and I pray to almighty God that nothing bad befalls them in health the next few years.) But COVID did seem to hit a handful of my in-laws, nephews, and fairly older cousins, two of whom were apparently unvaxxed and died to COVID (but I'm pretty sure both had comorbidies I was not privy of.)

Somehow despite living all my life in the liberal hivemind of New England, and constant societal pressure surrounding me the last two years, and a handful of emotional pleas from my female family members, I defied the trickery and got it the old-fashioned natural way. It was the exact outcome I was hoping for. Still, I quietly keep an eye on my family periodically. They're all doing fine despite the madness in the world, and that's the best I can ask for.

Which means, if you want to get unfucked, you not only need people to come up with a method to stop the proliferation of the spikes, but also have a medical facility that will be happy to carry such meds. My father and the army candy both had the rona in early 2020, which I think I've mentioned before. It hit their guts nasty, but aside from that they were untouched and had few side effects, despite being in their late 70s. They had it again at the end of last year, after getting their pfizer vaccines - and I tried so hard to convince them not to get the damn things, but such is life. She's developed a gluten intolerance out of nowhere, on top of an inflamed bowel and mental issues that we have yet to fully address, and he's developed an arrhythmia and dangerously high blood pressure for no discernible reason. They're convinced that it's the rona that did it. Maybe they're right, and maybe it did, but the coincidence is uncanny.
