The only thing that makes Russia a superpower is it's nukes. They're taking heavy causalities against fucking Ukraine, it doesn't matter if you win in the end. They deployed a few armored and infantry divisions with air support. That wasn't a full scale invasion.

I cannot see Russia being able to hold Ukraine indefinitely if things continue as they have. The Ukrainians have already started to feel that they are united in a war effort against a foreign enemy. The longer this lasts, the stronger this bond will be.

The only problem with this is that people despite being absolutely retarded do realize that their government fucked them over. They also see how ukrainian army uses civilians as a shield and what nazi battalions do to them. Also, after disregarding the suffering of people in Donbass for 8 years, they may think "shit, what we've been doing to them all that time was fucked up" after experiencing it on their own skin. They also see that despite 8 years of "US and EU are with Ukraine" bullshit, in the end they fucked them over and basically don't care, so maybe their opponents were right and their government was lying to them all this time. Especially, when Zelensky whines like a fag, that they were betrayed. And don't forget that they are ukies, they will jump on new master's dick, especially "professional patriots".

Yet again you miss the point entirely. Arming civilians would be fine if they gave them some sort of command structure and/or the civilians are educated on how to use them. That's not what's happening here though. The government is handing them out to random people and giving them no guidance. This is doomed to fail and will get people killed.

Apparently they do give a 3 day training camp because otherwise the way you are describing it would be retarded, like you are acting like they are picking AK's off the assembly line. No they get 3 days basic training which includes how to properly operate the fucking gun, unless you think they are so fucking stupid they cant handle such a basic task.

Having followed some pro 2A gun tubers, they praised Ukraine for it. And used this to bash the hypocrisy of leftists looking to outlaw ARs when they promoting kids to use "weapons of war" lol. It's more a dilemma for the gun control fags, since they fine with supporting foreigners using guns to protect their lives but not American citizens.

You need to keep in mind, war unites people REALLY fast and easily, ESPECIALLY if it's a defensive war. Nothing unites people like The Other, The Foreigner, The Invader, The Occupier, attacked us, bombed our cities, killed our civilians, and occupied our homeland. The Jingoistic shit that came out of 9/11 and Pearl Harbour weren't exaggerated and aren't strictly American traits.

There will be a massive insurgent movement, that will make occupation a certainty, anyone who thinks there won't is lying to themselves.

I'd suspect that they're being integrated into the military somehow, option that would make the most sense is assigning a regular army NCO to each squad to try and keep them in some sort of order. You can probably teach someone how to not be a retard with a gun in 3 days, and their tactical leadership is hopefully spending every spare second before the Russians drive on Kiev drilling them in tactical movement.

I'd hope they're doing something like that. Because last I heard was they were handing out AKs to urbanites and people were shooting each other in the streets over petty shit.
