The Sky News footage they just claim it's "Russian Saboteurs" who "roam the country side" which is nonsense. Even if they were Russians, if they're saboteurs behind enemy lines they won't be obviously Russian so how would someone being shot at by them distinguish them? They wouldn't.

I'm convinced Ukrainians, for whatever reason, are killing people and then just claiming "saboteurs" regardless of which end of the rifle they were on. In the Sky News clip they say that these saboteurs shoot civilians who are leaving which frankly sounds much more like pissed off Ukrainians than something the Russians would bother with.

Anyone not military is retarded for driving around an active war zone, Regardless of if this was Russians or Ukrainians doing this is moot. But I guess the Pro-Russia fags all of a sudden have bleeding hearts for the media who are basically driving around and fucking up operations. Also there is no such thing as "Saboteurs" according to Pro-Russians they are all good people who din du nuffin. Nigger this is a war you fuck around you die. Pretty sure the Ukranians just fucked up and opened fire on journalists and lied to cover their ass, because the "Russian Saboteurs" story doesn't make a whole lot of sense when you actually take a moment to think about it.

Journalists went through multiple Ukrainian military checkpoints, were approaching another, and a random group of Russian Saboteurs who had been sneaking around in enemy territory decided to blow their cover to open fire on a random civilian vehicle?

Previously we've seen dashcam footage that allegedly showed Ukranian checkpoints opening fire on civilian vehicles, but if this was something the Russian forces were doing on the regular, we'd have heard about it happening a lot more by now.

edit: it was also on a route they were told to go down after they were given ice cream, if I'm remembering the article correctly.

The incident was covered at length by a chap called bigeye on arrse. He's in country. He knows the bods who were hit, Ex-Marine, Ex-SF. He was told by Sky initially that it was a jumpy Ukranian militia. They then changed the official narrative as even he said (to paraphrase) it would be bad PR.

He's got combat experience and he's right there in the thick of it. You can find his posts on arrse if you want to read for yourself. Consider as well that arrse is using every opportunity to paint Putin as a madman and the Russian forces as baby-raping barbarians, I think it's fair to say there's a very good chance of what he says is true as it completely goes against their narrative. You aren't allowed to show any support for Putin at all nor bring up any political commentary about how we all got in to this situation (well, Russia/Ukraine).

He's a bit shaken up as his friends came very close to death, but it wasn't a deadly ambush (even though people are lucky to be alive - I'm not trivialising it). The fact that his version of events has been accepted (when it makes for bad PR for Ukraine at a time when they have all but taken their side) gives it weight in my opinion. He's a highly respected member of arrse which gives it credence as well. Who knows?

Anyway, he was told by SKY it was Ukie militia at first, and it's not hard to see why they changed that account of events considering the wider propaganda war at play here. You're not likely to get a more accurate and honest account of events, when it's from a credible source on the ground near to the exact event. All things considered I'm happy to believe him. Not the Ruskies this time, but the Ukies. He also personally said that he finds it highly unlikely it was the Ruskies, on balance of probabilities, so there is that as well.

Its no surprise they're using Syrian war vets. Experience is gold. That does bring into question if the first guys in Ukraine were filled with vets that may be dead or taken out of combat, meaning the next guys up are going to be less capable.

Some notes from a guy I know who went to the Slovak-Ukraine border to help pick up some UA refugees and drive them to Czechia, roughly translated to English. Keep in mind that the more outlandish claims are just stuff he heard from the locals and some Slovak border guards he talked to, not what he saw himself - they're more indicative of the rumors spreading around than actual reality.

- Ukrainians aren't letting almost any men out, the few that get through are with families, caretakers for the elderly, etc. 90% of people crossing the border are women, kids and retards
- local gypsies tried to make money off all this, thinking they'd get welfare if they made it past the border. The ones already in Slovakia are fucking furious because they're not getting money, just food and shelter
- the absolute worst enemy of Ukrainians are Ukrainian border guards. If it's between 6 PM to 6 AM, they don't give a shit, there's a curfew, fuck you. There are buses waiting on the Slovak side to take people to shelter, but UA border guards refuse to let anyone through outside office hours, they're letting people freeze overnight.
- if you're not headed to a relative or legal guardian, you get refugee status and get shipped straight into a detention facility in Humenne
- Kiev is going to be evacuated within 2 days and the border is going to go full Lesbos, and not in the fun way
- the local priest has a ton of work giving last rites - heart attacks, exhaustion etc., a lot of old people just don't make it through the wait
- the whole thing is pretty well organized on the Slovak side, but the Ukrainian side is a shitshow and they're refusing any foreign help
- Rumor: locals say they actually did see some niggers get their asses kicked for trying to cross the border
- Another rumor: there are cars coming to the border with German license plates and they pick up women and children and ship them either to whorehouses or to organ farms
- Also a rumor: there are also Ukrainian gangsters from the west coming in to pick up people, promising refugees they'll arrange everything for about 500-800 EUR for "administrative fees". Obviously that's bullshit, everything's free, you don't have to pay for visa or anything. Those who accept are shipped to factories to wageslave under employment agencies while the gangs pocket their sign-up bonuses. Some of the gangsters might have gotten their asses kicked by the locals - there are a lot of security forces coming in to help so maybe they did it
