I'm not saying you're a fool for thinking that - even though I really don't believe Azov is setting up checkpoints and murdering civilians instead of fighting Russians. What I'm saying is that taking the words of the seperatist's spokesmen at face value is dumb. Both sides are lying because it's war. I'm just wondering why it seems like the Russians aren't even really trying to obey the ceasefire they declared.
That's one of the reasons I find it hard to believe they are actually doing it. Could very well be happening cuz Ivan is terrible but could also be a false flag, could have been a corridor contingent on something and the Ukies didn't live up to said contigent.

This whole situation has been a real good lesson in fog of war.

According to the Pole who posted this it says "In Ukr, the commander of the 247th landing and assault regiment of the 7th VDV division was killed." Not sure what his rank was or if this is bullshit, but the VDV general turned out to be true.
Skeptical of this one but if true the 7th Guards Mountain Air Assault Division must really be getting fucked up. The Major General in charge of the division got killed by a sniper 3 days ago and now the commander of one of it's four constituent Air Assault Regiments might've ate shit too.

Apologies if this has been posted before; thread moves kinda fast sometimes.

Zelensky Blames NATO instead of his own hubris or own willingness to use civillian shields for getting innocents killed. He could surrender to Russia at any time and stop the fighting. What a coward.

Regimental command would be a Colonel, Russian "Полко́вник", romanized as Polkóvnik. A cursory Wikipedia search is checking out on the organizational side, so it's not an obvious fraud.

Honestly I think the confirmed General was killed for incompetence but they blamed it on a lone sniper. I doubt a sniper managed to infiltrate deep to their staff headquarters, take him out, kill no other members of his entourage like an XO or company commander and not get captured or killed. That or Russian Generals are LtCols to us. A general dying in the US would be a huge setback and morale loss.

Ukraine is being raped in plain sight by a sycophant that claims she'll like it in a while, whilst those that assured her safety just fap and clap with righteous indignation. He's justifiably mad.

The situation is grey enough for me to say that they probably shouldn't have flirted with provoking a nation by shelling ethnic russians against the recommendation of the very organization it now blames for not helping it.

I cannot blame him. Our shared WW2 heritage left both Ukraineans and Russians with a "no step back, never surrender to the invaders" mentality. Always thought of it as a virtue and never thought it would lead to... This.

The militant pro-ukrainians in this thread having a normal one i see

Definitely nothing to do with the similar mania we see from Ukrainian officials as the realisation that there is no path to victory sets in
Man it sucks when people don't just have the same opinion as you doesn't it? I can't understand the slavaboo mind when the Ukrainians adapt Russian made tactics. I guess Stalin should have surrendered Leningrad and Stalingrad because deaths are bad.

Most people are 'niggercattle normalfags'. Just coz the people you know know how these things work, doesn't mean that's the general consensus.
If you really are a niggercattle normalfag then chances are you already support Putin pretty much unconditionally and won't care less about what foreign social media has to say.
If you do care about such things, you either already know how to access them if they ever get blocked (2012, right when that shit started and they started blocking shit left and right, was a major redpill, even among normalfags), or, if you don't, the information is literally in the top search results in Yandex (which are not blocked by the way).

Also I never said it was a valid reason to censor the web and you will never find me saying that. Just giving some context from the inside. Some people think Roskompozor is exacly like Chinese firewall in its restrictiveness. In reality its not anywhere near as restrictive or effective.

Ultimately, if there is going to be any impact from foreign social media being blocked, it will be extremely small.

Here's a Russian news article claiming the death.

TL;DR of what it's saying: Colonel Konstantin Zizevsky, from the city of Nevinnomyssk in Stavropol Krai, died during fighting in Ukraine. The mayor of Nevinnomyssk, who was Zizevsky's "close friend" confirmed his death. He says that Zizevsky's funeral will be held on March 6th in the city of Pskov.

According to the article, that's Colonel Zizevsky Konstantin. (English Archive)

In terms of authenticity, this screenshot appears to be from Stavropol State TV, a Russian news company. I don't think Russian media would be lying about the death of a regiment commander, especially this soon after Putin confirmed the death of Major General Sukhovetsky.

Losing any commanding officer at that level is already going to be a nightmare, but the fact that Russia has now confirmed the death of 1 regiment commander and 2 division commanders is going to have a major impact on operations and morale.
