If they'd had all their new equipment, and already had their reservists called up. Yes they realized back in 2014 that their existing weapon stockpiles from the Soviet era were unmaintained and worthless, and they've been working on fixing that since then. That doesn't mean that they've finished updating their military. Last I heard they'd ordered drone from Turkey before this started, but had only gotten some of them. I doubt their supplies of other new equipment were fully adequate either given one of the first things they were screaming for was more weapons. And reservists being available isn't the same thing as reservists already called back into service, organized in to units, and equipped. This could have been a lot nastier for Russia in just another year or two, or if Zelensky had been a bit more proactive at readying everything for the invasion.

That's chubby for any military service. I'm shocked to see him in service of any sort, much less as a pilot of a top end fighter bomber.

Now, we have the fog of war, but here we have a rare case of actually knowing what the fuck really happened because we have a man on the ground who is credible and sending back reports. There was no Russian Death (assasination) Squad. It was a bunch of uppity fucking Ukies brassing up a car. Maybe they do that all the time. Gell-Mann amnesia and all that.


Our boy 'Bigeye' on the ground gave a pretty thorough account of affairs and they were even accepted to be true because he's not a known bullshitter or propagandist. Anyway, little update to that. A few of the arrse community missed that it was one of their own getting shot up and mouthed off. This is what bigeye had to say:

And this was a retort from someone that had kind of called him out earlier. Not really calling him out, but just questioning some parts of the narrative. Anyway they're all good friends at the end of the day. Even Arrse is not a total hug box.

Point being the Fucking BBC and the fucking daily mail are not telling the truth. Nor are SKY.

This is one of the rare examples of propaganda in full effect where you know you are being lied to, how you are being lied to and you have the receipts to prove it.

Marketing companies and paid bots. Did you know that he didn't even found Tesla? He is an investment banker who bought it. As part of the buyout deal, the two founders of the company legally cannot publicly claim to be founders of the company. He's a rich asshole LARPing as an engineer.

So I've been thinking and I really wish we had sent them some predator drones, mainly just because I've always been curious to see how survivable they are in an actual war.

Putin was seen today meeting with Aeroflot flight stewardesses ahead of international women's day (it's on 8.3.2022, so remember to congratulate your wife/girlfriend or, more likely for this site, 2D waifu).

People were surprised to see Putin interacting so close with people without any protective equipment. Throughout the whole Covid debacle, he's made a point of staying as far away from other people as possible (thus the comically long tables). Aside from a few jabs at the West, the meeting itself was completely uninteresting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BF3jibpT1k)

However, it was quickly noticed that something was a bit off:



The theory is that Putin was not actually present at all, but was rather digitally added to the video to make it seem like he is comfortable interacting with people normally and to counter rumours about his paranoia towards Covid. I'll leave it to you guys to decide.

Edit: Seems like the above video itself might have been edited. There is another where Putin's hand does not clip. Also, considering the length of the original, it is unlikely that it could have been digitally altered to be as convincing as it is. Looks like Putin really has become a big boy and is no longer afraid of Covid cooties.
