It's the damnedest thing in this thread that some people are just incapable of imagining themselves in the Russians' shoes. When you explain the situation via analogy, all they want to do is tell you all the ways the analogy is different than the situation being analogized rather than actually attempting to understand the situation.Like I said I couldn't care a single solitary fuck if you don't believe in what Russia believes, i'm just pointing out their point of view.
There isn't a official source for anything either side posits and as cool at that Oryx blog is, this is an active and ongoing war where things can and do change in New York City minute.I'm going by confirmed losses counted on Oryx and video footage of what seems to be at least 100 dead VDV forces over several skirmishes. Even if the Ukrainians have double the losses that the Russians have that doesn't bode well for them.
Trying to see from a different point-of-view makes you a Russian shillIt's the damnedest thing in this thread that some people are just incapable of imagining themselves in the Russians' shoes. Is this lack of any capacity for empathy or theory of mind just a symptom of severe autism?
Those Ukraine flags were clearly unwrapped about 5 minutes before the photo op. Couldn't even wait to get the creases out.
Autism. Understanding Russia's actions and thinking the actions are shitty, paranoid, or irrational aren't mutually exclusive by the way. Which the average person in current year don't get. It's the damnedest thing in this thread that some people are just incapable of imagining themselves in the Russians' shoes. Official source? What sources? We're going to have to rely on photo/video evidence as no one first party going to be truthful. The Russians don't even tell the public how many actually died in Afghanistan. I don't think those burned aircraft and tank husks are going to change from destroyed to fine anytime soon. Likewise for those Russians that keep walking into killboxes in aluminum APCs. All those men and experience are gonna stay dead. There isn't a official source for anything either side posits and as cool at that Oryx blog is, this is an active and ongoing war where things can and do change in New York City minute.

Far from being angry, I'm impressed at the lack of shame of those guys.Imagine being a Palestinian in East Jerusalem. You look out the window of your shitty apartment and see this

The absolute nerve of these people. They really have no shame.
That's not what was said.Understanding Russia's actions and thinking the actions are shitty, paranoid, or irrational aren't mutually exclusive by the way.
I meant by the way as in a general sense, not directly towards you. Apologies for confusion. That's not what was said. It was "this isn't literally the same as the Cuban missile crisis down to the tiniest detail, therefore the analogy has no validity at all".
Telnyashka. They used to be almost exclusively worn by Russian sailors in the older days as far as I know, now everyone does because they are surprisingly warm while being relatively light and comfortable.Has anyone here ever met a Ruskie soldier in person or seen what are they like up close?

And what is up with their striped undershirts?
That's the same exact kind of deal we all saw when dealing with retards suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, trying to convince them that voting for someone doesn't perfectly equate to wanting to eat babies. And then the same sorta thing with trying to convince them that not wanting to get vaccinated doesn't mean you're a sociopath who wants to kill your grandmother. Total black-and-white thinking, zero theory of mind, 100% brainwashed. It's the damnedest thing in this thread that some people are just incapable of imagining themselves in the Russians' shoes. It's not like the Cuban missile crisis though. For one, US never actually launched a full invasion of Cuba. Bay of Pigs was a debacle but after that the US basically let the commies sit there and stew in their own rot. That's not what was said.
It was "this isn't literally the same as the Cuban missile crisis down to the tiniest detail, therefore the analogy has no validity at all and Russia has no valid national interests".
Bullshit. The CIA tried, and failed, to kill Castro 638 times.Bay of Pigs was a debacle but after that the US basically let the commies sit there and stew in their own rot.
So don't act like you, or people you like, know. These niggers use the same shit, they used to be the same country about 30 years ago, for fucks sake. No one's counting dead Russian soldiers in an active war zone and if you have not noticed, let me clue you in: Ukrainians and Russians are identical, so you can't tell them apart by looks alone. This is a sad as fuck brother war and this being KF, I am not emoting over my sadness that two peoples I enjoy being around are now trying to vaporize each other, but I am, I really am.Official source? obviously i just think its a stretch to say thats the same priority as territory they had before conflict with ukraine, i dont think russia is under the impression ukraine is going to invade beyond eastern ukraine is what im saying not that they see east ukraine as some worthless shit territory theyll easily abandonRussia has poured billions to make shure that Crimea survives and they built a bridge that connects Crimea to Russia and the loss of Sevastopol would be a strategic catastrophe for Russia since it's their most important port in the black sea.
Adding to that is the fact that 80 % of the northern black sea's natural gas (that is worth more than a trillion dolars) is located in the oceanic zone of Crimea.
With these facts in mind it's almost a fact that Russia will fight tooth and nail to keep Crimea under Russian control.
They'll take Kharkiv. It'll be a bloodbath but the Russians will take it.Al Jazeeras journalist in South Ukraine just drove past a column of Ukrainian Tanks in southeastern Ukraine on the main road to mariople.
Lets allow this reality to marinate for a hot second. 5 Ukrainian tanks. On the main road to a besieged city. In East Ukraine. 2 weeks into the war.
The reason I am relying on AL Jazeera for this is because it's owned by Qatar and Qatar does not have an axe to grind in this situation so I seriously doubt they just made up the fact the Ukrainian Armored units are still in active maneuver east of the Dneiper.
Russia is in deep shit now. They can't bring their force to bear on Kiev because they launched a land war in Asia at the end of winter. The Northern Steppe is a bog right now. To take Kiev they need to bring their forces up from the South, and to do that they need to take Kharkiv and Mariople. Which is proving very hard. Meanwhile the Russian Black Sea Fleet is out of position. Instead of supporting the fighting in Mariople, it's on a vanity project preparing to attack Odessa. Classic Russian doctrine. Don't change the plan due to changing circumstances. Stick to the plan no matter what.
Sounds like they weren't trying very hardBullshit. The CIA tried, and failed, to kill Castro 638 times.
Yeah, they only threatened nuclear war until the Soviets de-escalated the situation. It's not like the Cuban missile crisis though. For one, US never actually launched a full invasion of Cuba. Bay of Pigs was a debacle but after that the US basically let the commies sit there and stew in their own rot.
