Guys, excuse me, if this is a dumb question, but what is it about comedy kid shows like Molly McGee that attract some of the most fucked up adults?

It might just be confirmation bias, or it might be that all the fucked up adults are fucked up because they can't comprehend anything more advanced than the lowest common denominator. I mean, look at Jerry. He's so repressed that he thinks the average cartoon villain is actually deeper than the average bad person in real life, and gets personally offended when any villain in any form of media gets redeemed or given justification in any way.

What's he going to watch in his spare time? Breaking Bad? The Wire? The Sopranos? Yeah, right. Every actually good TV show is good beause the characters are deep and unique. Kids shows are designed to be easy to follow, with clearly-defined villains and straightforward solutions to problems. They do this because the writers want to make sure kids can follow the story, even if they're young or only half paying attention, but coincidentally those shows appeal to the sort of crowd that thinks you can enforce positivity in people. It's no surprise that people with that mindset break down when they encounter anyone with competing opinions.

That's funny, just a couple pages ago Jerry was going on about how financially stable and happy he was. How he could do whatever he wanted and chooses to make videos because it's the most compelling thing in the world.

Is it just me, or is Jerry not even trying to keep his lies straight any more? He was never particularly good at hiding the truth, but it seems in recent weeks he's gone full-on DID with his posts. I used to feel like Jerry was, at least, telling his version of the truth. An incredibly delusional version, where he was actually way more miserable and obsessive than he lets on, but the version he convinced himself was real. If he explicitly lied, it was to satisfy his Munchausens-esque need to feel vulnerable and get asspats. Now he's lying about everything, all the time. If someone is keylogging you, and presumably knows when you're using the computer, like for example, your father, circumventing the keylogger just makes it obvious. If Lily liked watching anything for people their age, Lily might have seen Better Call Saul which has a fantastic example of this, where one of the characters, Mike, realizes his car is bugged, and instead of just tearing it out, sets in motion a chain of events that not only disables the bug but also bugs the people bugging him.

As it is, this is basically negative evidence. Like for example, if everyone who rents a car brings it back dirty, the people who drive it through a carwash and meticulously clean it might stand out if there is an investigation.

Same principle for the Tor browser, developed by the US gov, but they let everyone use it, because if there's only one entity using it, they stand out and everyone can follow it, but you get a lot of noise from every other rando using it? Now you're hidden in the crowd.
