Doesn't this give the russians reason to bomb those airports?
Not if they're just picking the planes up, not flying combat missions. The Russians know NATO air and air defense is active, would be treated as an act of war.

Also, sending "Flying Tigers" not a good idea. The Ukes have the pilots, will have maintenance. "Flying Tigers" would likely be trained to fly US/Allied fighters, requiring special maintenance/logistics in support.

Would also suggest we/Allies are providing runway repair equipment/materials to the Ukes. Takes a LOT to wipe out an airfield for good. You patch holes in runways with dirt and pierced steel planking, bring in fuel tanks if needed, maintenance equipment, make quick fixes to buildings as needed. Tower out? Use a mobile unit.

Dunno, folks. For some reason I see a long, grinding war now. Long war doesn't favor a Russian victory. Lend-Lease supplies coming in, Ukrainians and volunteers coming in.

How this ends....no idea. Anything can happen, anywhere. Maybe we get lucky and Putin is removed from power. Then things could change.

So the process would be Poland and other Nato members would give Ukraine older Soviet/Russian planes to the Ukrainian. Most likely by having the Ukrainian pilots going over the border and picking them up, or something like that
I'm not a military strategist, but it seems like announcing such a thing on global news networks where Russians can see it is a bit foolish isn't it? Couldn't these jets be shot down as they cross the Poland/Ukraine border into a warzone where large numbers of Russian military forces are operating (including surface to air missile systems)? Surely the Russians can at least see them on radar since they aren't hidden. Even if they do fly back into Ukraine piloted by Ukrainians, they have to land, fuel, and arm themselves at stationary airfields that can be easily pinpointed don't they? Perhaps I'm just ignorant about how little force Russia can project in the combat space, but something just seems off about this.

It literally cannot happen fast enough. I hope that the system collapses and bankers are drawn and quartered in the streets by subsaharans who then eat their inside thinking that the secret to jewish magic can be obtained by imbibing chunks of raw organ meat.
Good Lord Null, I know you have your issues with banks, but isn't that a bit much? Wouldn't a simple drawing and quartering be enough?

I mean, technically, but it would also give Poland the right to retaliate unilaterally. And they would, you can bet your ass they would.
If Poland retaliated they would just open themselves up for even more retaliation.
Letting the planes start from those airports is basically already an offensive act, Turkey wasn't protected by NATO when they send fighter into Syria.
Unsure what will happen...

It's the damnedest thing in this thread that some people are just incapable of imagining themselves in the Russians' shoes. When you explain the situation via analogy, all they want to do is tell you all the ways the analogy is different than the situation being analogized rather than actually attempting to understand the situation.

Is this lack of any capacity for empathy or theory of mind just a symptom of severe autism?
This isn't directly the same, because it isn't so much putting yourself in the feet of the Russians, but imagine America decided we just wanted a fat chunk of Mexico. This is really unlikely now but remember we historically did exactly that after manufacturing a casus belli out of thin air. To be fair the Mexicans had no more real claim on that land than we did, but we wanted it, had bigger guns, bigger dicks, and took it.

But suppose we wanted to do that now. Suppose we just actually massed troops on the border for several months while the world tut-tutted and condemned our obviously aggressive intentions. Then we just did it. The world would condemn us, there would be probably extreme sanctions (with some of our closer allies circumventing or outright refusing them), our enemies would send the Mexicans weapons, but you know what? Ultimately we'd get what we want and what you'd never see is any of these fuckers actually fighting us in our own backyard.

And that's really the situation Russia is in. They know absolutely nobody is going to fuck with them directly because it would be insanely idiotic beyond even the insane idiocy of their usual enemies.

Don't get me wrong. The very concept of national borders and sovereignty are absolutely essential to the relatively peaceful last few decades. What Russia has done is an abomination, not because Ukraine is particularly sympathetic (if you ignore the media spin), but because it is an affront to that very basic principle of international law all the others depend on.

Still, lmao you violated international law! So call the international cops! International law is pretty much the source of "oh yeah you and what army?"

They'd probably land near Lviv and Russian air force can't even go anywhere near there.

Though they do have cruise missiles in Transistria apparently since they launched 8 off today, not sure how many more they have.

What is this language you speak of "archive?"

Does it cause the video to show here. Does it have a time limit. I am but a simple normie unable to reason on my own
Unsure if you're trolling but your join date is January this year so I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

KF protocol is when posting links to also copy the link to archive.md so that it's preserved and post that link, too. Also, a handy thing to do is also archive video from YouTube or Twitter using an appropriate tool (savetweetvid.com for Twitter is good, and your choice of easily found online ones for YouTube). Then you can attach it to the post.

This is good for anything likely to be taken down or replaced due to public embarassment by the companies, cows or cunts* therein humiliated.

*I was going to write governments but it would have broken my alliteration and it's a pretty good synonym.

The American Civil War ended in 1865 you fucking retard. You either don't realize or don't care that the average Mexican in the 1860s was living life like a serf, so trying to improve those conditions so you can rule over a stable country isn't being a redditor, it's having more than two brain cells to rub together.

I really want to know what brain parasite you people have to have to think people who believe Russia will eventually beat Ukraine in a war are Putin shills.
They think that Harry Potter, the Avengers, Power Man and the Spider Rangers, the Jedi Order, and the entirety of Reddit are going to fly in at the last moment to save them the way Al-Qaeda did in that South Park episode about Jersey Shore.
