surgeons have a higher rate of sociopathy than most other professions. it helps with being able to not faint or vomit when you're slicing through people. it isn't helpful when the surgery you perform has too much protection from malpractice suits, like this one.

if those wounds don't get closed mechanically they are going to fill in with scar tissue. it is always harder to revise a scar than to prevent it from becoming problematic in the first place.

No one wanted to be lobotomized? not true. All I had to do was search for "requested their lobotomy" and found multiple instances of people doing so. One woman, Wilma Rogers, requested the procedure twice. She went back for a second time because she was sick of being mentally ill. From what I can read it seems like she had bipolar or a personality disorder of some sort.

At the time lobotomy was one of the only things that worked at all on psych patients. until then the asylums were filled with people who were so disturbed they couldn't even stay with relatives. there were not any real drugs to try besides downers. All therapy was Freudian. One major reason this procedure is looked back on as barbaric is the discovery of psych drugs, which are reversible, and are therefore a much kinder option. But there were many years between the rise of lobotomy and the discovery of drugs, and people who had serious psychiatric problems were desperate to have normal lives. The doctors lied about the true prognosis so informed consent was impossible. This is also true of SRS.

While lobotomy isn't really utilized anymore, electroconvulsive therapy still is. people are knocked out and it doesn't look anything like requiem for a dream, but it is still not reversible and alters the brain, and people still consent to it when they have failed available drugs. The difference is that they are given accurate information about outcomes and it is restricted to people who have tried everything else first. If SRS was only given to people who failed everything else first there would be vanishingly few people who get it done, and maybe they would be the people who are disturbed enough to find their amholes preferable to functional reproductive anatomy.

It shouldn't matter if people consent when the exact thing that is wrong with them is that they struggle to see themselves realistically. It is like requiring someone to be able to read an informed consent contract when they are blind (rather than say, being able to have it read out loud to them). their consent has to mean something. We don't let children or mentally handicapped people consent to anything, they have someone in charge of their care do it for them. Troons aren't children or tards, but they are damaged in a very specific way that makes consent for cosmetic procedures extremely difficult to ethically obtain. Right now what happens is that the psych people and the surgeon pass the blame back and forth. This gives them another person to blame when they get sued so it seems to protect the clinicians only and not the patient.

I also keep asking myself if troons that go mtf realize that MOST women experience some kind of difficulty having sex, experiencing orgasm, etc., at some point in their lives. Some women never actually enjoy it, and there is very medical little research into fixing this problem for women.

If there are MtFs who realize this they are a small minority. One of the recurring topics on trans Reddit forums is the mythical "full body orgasm" or "female orgasm" that is much better than the ones men get and can only be achieved after one or both of HRT and SRS depending on who you ask. It makes no physical sense but that's perfectly in line with the other things troons claim so I'm not going to stress it. The most likely explanation is that it's all in their heads and once the rush wears off they're less sensate than a man from the butchery.

I just want to point out that this surgeon is a fucking snake. The incidence of rectovaginal fistula is 0.1%... in women who have given birth. It is insane and evil to lie to trannies, who are not women, about a complication rate that is not even close to accurate because it's not applicable to them. SRS and dilating involve repeated trauma to a wound bed that's basically designed to rip a big old hole in it and 0.1% is flat out implausible. But this informed consent patient didn't have that information.

Edit: I can't find great incidence data for RV fisties in trannies, but there sure are a lot of case studies and this cohort found 2/60 patients had them after SRS... that's 3%.

Edit again: Dr. Yonah Krakowsky grew up with very weird sex messaging from his Orthodox Jewish community. He comes off as easily love-bombed by patients who validate his expertise by treating him like a superstar activist superhero doctor. He's castrating for a good cause. What a mensch.

I could not find any information on what surgeon is operating on Simpson for this revision, but I was able to learn that the revision involved a graft from an arm. I assume it is a skin graft and not a full-thickness like the fujoshis get for their fleshtubes. I have no clue what the surgeon thinks he can do with arm skin down there on a MTF.
