I seriously doubt it's pride. GTG often said that Phil isn't prideful in the usual sense of the word. He is more concernef with his ego these days and that is defintely not pride. Heck see him lashingout against his own viewers when they question his boring Elden Ring playstyle. he is so insecure the slightest dent (ha!) makes him rage.

I think his lashing out is him trying to hold onto whatever shred of "dignity" he has left. His ego is so fragile that any criticism leaves him bitter and we've repeatedly seen him twist reality just to try and shift blame. Like many failure before him, he simply refuses to accept any responsibility for his problems but his moments of awareness show he does at least know this.

For Phil it goes L A Z I N E S S > ego/insecurity >= greed. The ceaseless inner-conflict of his L A Z I N E S S, ego/insecurity and MASSIVE greed is what makes Phil, The Guy™. It is incredible to watch him beg one moment and turn around with burning indignance that his paypigs would ask for even the SLIGHTEST return on investment. This is really why Phil loathes his audience more than the trolls, some people think its because they're tards, but he doesn't give a fuck. Its because his viewers don't just pay him "what his time is worth" without motivation, vests, stupid fucking hats, clownmode, etc. He sees other streamers succeed effortlessly, and his pigbrain can't comprehend that they are statistical outliers, so he feels entitled to that level of support, especially since he predates most of them. Phil will not accept money if there are even the slightest expectations on him as a result, he's turned down substantial amounts out of fear it would indebt him in some way. At the root of it all is the pigroach equivalent of an Id, L A Z I N E S S. Any expectation placed on him in exchange for money, any hint that memberships are transactional, any stupid fucking morahn that thinks tipping Phil gives them the right to tell him how he should play the game, answer questions, treat his viewers, interact with the stream, edit his content, or what equipment he should buy, sends the pigroach into an anxiety-induced rage at the mere thought of potential future effort.

It's obvious he hates them, after all he refuses to do anything with them if he can help it. What he hates is that he knows that they are retarded and yet, he can't get rid of them as they are the only people who can tolerate him enough. I doubt he genuinely likes derich's stupidity and public porn obsession, he hated having to keep snowkarl around and he hates that the whales openly admit that the main reason they tip is because of trolls. That's not mentioning that when he's done anything with them in the past they always become more popular than him in his own streams and he knows it. And he knows that most of his "trolls" have no intention of actually doing anything to him. whereas he has to endure them every day.

I agree but for different reasons. Clip channels turn 30 seconds of content into 120 seconds of content plus sounds effects, pop culture references, repeating some dumbass thing Phil said in the past that contradicts/reinforces/has no reference whatsoever to what he just said.

It's sort of like how comedy sketches work out really, clip channels can go on with the cliche quip of Phil saying the liar part, much like what Snort Burnell does, the usual schtick that Soma Julius Cruz does for introducing the sphere

But then you get channels like Aqua Teal @Hate Army Watch and to me clips that describe the very thing Phil shit talks about

I can't stand the live borefest that is his channel as he has molded it into a detailed mouth mess of hourly podcast which isn't a podcast, reviewing his channel numbers like it's an achievement worthy of Guinness Records instead the truth that his channel is still dying but being propped up by the most cringe socks and users to "support" him

Live is ok for the moment as you see the tahxic run the course but my god there is so much of his streams that I realized why MightyD just doesn't make his own clips, sometimes it does end not with a bang but with a bow and the silent closing of the curtains

I think more people have a good eye on him nowadays. Before he got a huge ego through the Youtube days by being a top sort of guy putting playthroughs up all the time and making good money. Posturing at his finest. He's a top level gamer in the country, and is a fighting game god apparently. He could make "Howard Stern" commentary and get away with it since it was the wild west.

Now as time went by, we started seeing how bad he actually is at almost every game (TIHYDP). Recently it has been less about games and more of what he says so we got a complete neutered version of past Phil because he can't bullshit as some average joe cool gamer guy with a lot of collectibles. He can't afford junk like that anymore, and enjoys the finest cuisines made in Italia with his married life and his awesome wife.

I might get puzzle pieced or you might disagree but i really agree with him about people complaining about how he's beating the bosses. Yes there is a beaten path that you can abide by to get the story but its an open world game.
The problem is when his audience is saying they're tired of seeing him fight a boss for an hour and he tells them shut up you pussies. He may be playing a nonlinear game but he's still a livescreamer. He can't have the surprised pikachu face when his audience drops off after he spends the stream facing a brick wall. Give the boss 15 minutes and keep it pushing. Plenty of fish in the sea.

But i guess the truth of the matter is whoever is guiding him through the emails is doing this on purpose so DSP misses a lot of content and just finishes the game. Only 20 hours in and he's 2/4 of the way done.

I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with being bad at the game you're streaming, plenty of popular livestreamers are absolute garbage at playing video games. You'd think that would make him more relatable.

DSP has one of the most fascinating dynamics with his money creatures I've ever seen, the way he expects his viewers to express their discontent with his khantent ( please sire, may we have a change of scenery milord? Perhaps a new area sire? It's okay if you don't want to sir, just a humble suggestion ) would result in a dead channel for anyone else. For DSP it works out because he has an apology fetish and his pigs are subhumans.

I don't think it's how he's doing things it's more his reaction to the slightest thing that's not ass-kissing or the complete drama queen overreaction, the arrogance and ego

The 6 hours really isn't the problem, the remaining 18 hours spent sitting around or laying down like a gambling, ginned up sack of potatoes is killing him.

If anybody is worried that elden ring won’t produce more salt, wait until the pig gets to Dragonbarrow, the underground poison area, and other end game areas.

I’m struggling like a mf’er in those areas approaching Level 70.

General Rabahn could be some good salt producer but I can eventually see the pig defeating him.

Unfortunately, the cucks and dentheads handholding him are really depriving us of some amazing salt because this game does not make it clear or simple as to where exactly you have to go. He’s also using guides for sure. The Sentinel Halberd he’s using can literally carry you through the entire game since so many mobs are weak to Holy damage but I’ve always found using a McGuffin weapon always boring AF. Knowing Phil, he won’t change weapons.

Trust me, the game’s not done with him and we’ll get some good rage moments especially when he comes across the true end game bosses.

It's the fact he's Phil and he's not random streamer who didn't play a Souls game or is known to be good at the game. It's arrogant, cheesing, smug asshole Phil who is who he is and know he's up to something going through the game acting like he lady pigroach luck having big dick weapons falling into his lap naturally.

He's been suspect of being a faggot with these games more since Guardian Rape simple guide reading. He's a fake, a phony, and not genuine with his approaches to this game and it leads to a very boring drawn out viewing experience for everyone watching.

Yes this guy will give you issues no matter what. First major boss that involves horse riding and even if you know what to do, it can be very frustrating.

Unless of course he somehow manages to use a certain combination of Barrier Shield with a greatshield and just blocks

I've fucked my back up stretching and yawning when I woke up but Phi's problem is obviously him carrying the burden of being a full time streamer. Not only is it mentally demanding, now we see that physically it takes its toll as well.
