That has a fair bit to do with it, but a lot of it stems from them knowing how western media would play it.

>Ukraine posts pictures of dead Russian soldiers online
UKRAINE IS WINNING! LOOK HOW THESE GREAT HEROES OF DEMOCRACY ARE CRUSHING THE BAD GUYS!
>Russia posts pictures of dead Ukrainian soldiers online
OUTRAGEOUS! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INHUMAN!

There's likely a general attitude on the Russian side that is "we're not going to engage in a fight we can't win."
I despise journos more than I ever could a Ruskie or Uke.

It's sickening. It's the waste of human life, and we have one side actively cheering on and advocating for the loss of life. It's tribal.... It breaks my heart....

I wonder how high the fake casualty counts will be by the end of the war, 40,000? 50,000?
6,000,000

Russia - speak softly and carry a big stick.

Jew president of Ukraine - screech loudly while carrying a twig. Also, please send us foreign fighters and create a no-fly zone. But don't worry, we're totally winning, guys.

Sorry, I don't victim blame.

A megalomaniac literally wants to rebuild the USSR and doesn't believe in the sovereignty of Ukraine. Nothing Ukraine did or didn't do would have ever changed that.

NATO is just Putin's excuse, and it's a poor one at that.
Ukraine will never be “sovereign” it’s a dirt poor country that’s been either directly ruled by or patronized by more powerful actors for all of modern history. Nobody serious “believes in Ukrainian sovereignty” at all including Zelensky himself. Zelensky isn’t a victim of anything, he’s victimized his own fucking people in service of imperialists in Washington DC who want to encircle Russia like they’ve encircled Iran and China. Under the post-2014 puppet government Ukraine hasn’t become a better country. Its women are whores, it’s full of drug addicts, and every young person who can is desperate to leave and never come back. This war is to protect the corrupt bastards milking Ukraine dry and American foreign policy hawks, not a fantasy world in which Ukraine is a wonderful “free democracy” or whatever the fuck people are pretending it is. Being a western proxy has hardly made Ukraine a prosperous place.

Russia views Ukraine as an extension of itself, a humiliating reminder of its defeat, and a vital national security interest. Zelensky knew all of this, and he also knew that Russia has a large military and nuclear stockpile, and he still decided to constantly do shit that alarmed Russia. Now he’s asking his people to die for Burisma. I place a lot of blame on him.

Nobody actually knows, but we could well be about to find out. Morlock compared weaponizing SWIFT to an unpatched zero-day- you use it once, then it gets fixed and you can never do it again. Every country is now on notice to preemptively unplug from globohomo if they want to do something they won't like. The fact that we burned this card over an Eastern European border war should be an adequate demonstration of how insanely reckless the people making the decisions are.
I wouldn't be surprised if people and nations learned to read between the lines, saw the pattern developing, and pulled as much currency out of US holdings and financial institutions as they possibly could. 2008 was a mere bump in the road for the right people.

For the past few years, you've had certain American citizens who have been denied access to payment processors. Then, you've had a huge portion of a country (Canada) frozen from their bank accounts. Now you have a series of payment processors denying services to an entire country.

If Americans were smart, they'd start pulling their money out of banks now while they still can.

"Slippery slope fallacy" no longer exists. We are all on the slope, and it never ends.

To this day, I’m still sad the CNN building didn’t get torched like those small businesses during the Floyd riots. Really a missed opportunity
The people in charge of those riots were very quick to redirect the mob towards the proper targets. Small independent businesses and not the national corporations that funded the national Democratic Party. BLM is nothing more then the direct action arm of the Democrats to replace the politically undesirable Klu Klux Klan that used to serve the the same purpose.

I have no fucking Idea what is going on all I know is how dirty the west is when it comes to cloak and dagger shit. It's the democrats specialty.

Fucking thank you. I knew I saw an actual video of Ukrainians with blue armbands and it was driving me up the wall.

Here's something funny: during the past few days, at times I would think about this video I posted earlier in thread...

14 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in a school in Vasilkov, southwest of Kiev (link).

Specifically, I would think about the first dead soldier shown, and whether or not he was really a Ukrainian soldier. You see where I'm going with this? As I was inspecting his body, my mind kept saying "whERe aRMBAND" so much to the point where I completely missed the literal Ukrainian flag on his fucking vest

I made a similar mistake with the Volnovakha video I referenced. I was so concerned about "omg blue armband, no yellow armband, so no Ukie", and so I took my attention off the uniforms completely to look at the faces to see if there were any blemishes and marks indicative of being in combat. And of course, that made me miss this, of all fucking things

So yeah, moral of the story: there are more indicators of allegiance than colored bands, like, y'know....

Gold, silver, crypto, and ammo. Might be a good idea to form connections in a country that is not the US for when SHTF, like my connections in the Caribbean.
