Megathread Tranny Sideshows on Social Media - Any small-time spectacle on Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, Dating Sites, and other social media.

RPDR has sucked ever since it started attracting primarily young contestants who think that looking really hot and fashionable is the most important thing about being in drag. There have been some sane trans contestants in the past who were clear professionals and staples in the scene, but I doubt that the new hsts bitches have half the longevity or adaptability of someone like Peppermint.

The thing is that someone like Peppermint can seperate their work from their personal lives, while a lot of the ones who become trans through drag have essentially become the mask and can no longer seperate themselves from their working persona. The most well adjusted and normal drag queens are the ones who have a firm line between their drag identity and their real identity. It must be pretty exhausting to be one of these HSTS drag queens and having to be 'on' all the time because there is no seperation between yourself and the persona you have constructed, no wonder so many of the trans contestants end up having weird meltdowns and embarassing themselves online.
I gave up on it after season 12. The season finale being held over Zoom because of COVID was really weird and off-putting. Jaida Essence Hall, the winner of that season, identifies as "queer", and one of the runner-ups, Gigi Goode, is now "transgender and non-binary". How the fuck that's possible, I do not know. Then, I remember season 13 having a TIF contestant make it to the finals. It's just gone downhill way too much. My favorites were just seasons 2-6.

I stuck it out as long as I could but I always said that I would stop if they got a straight guy on, so I quit this season. I’m so tired of the troon pipeline it’s become for the most feminine and pretty queens. all my favourites have trooned and it’s totally alienated me. the TIF - an example of gayface if ever there were one - the other female and now this straight guy have only add insult to injury. I’m out.

Dr. Gallagher called. She wants more 13 year olds.

Genital mutilation is wrong.

If it's on a group that legitimately has those issues. But it's fine with otherwise normal boys and girls get butchered for your gender cult.

They LOVE using intersex people as a prop.
Yes, I'm replying to this a month later because unlike you fucks I have a life and can't seethe at trannies 24/7.

Honestly, the only reason why I wouldn't fix an intersex child's genitals is if the result is as fucking bad as tranny surgery. Other than that, no, I won't raise my kid as xer until he or she wants to neck themselves just because they have a frankencock.

The hilarious part about the troonopocalypse on RPDR this season is that it isn't a coincidence that these men keep trooning out - originally there was one troon, who was eliminated. Come the 'Untucked' episode, don't worry, someone else trooned out to replace him! And then when that troon got eliminated, another one did the same.

Clearly there's a producer in the background insisting that the troon quota be upheld in all episodes :story:

This is weird, because if these people truly were secretly men deep down all along, they wouldn’t be constantly worried about being masculine, because they’d naturally be masculine, because they are men. They wouldn't have to change their natural style at all.

It's almost like these girls know it’s all an act, even if they can’t admit it to themselves
That's what makes me laugh about this. These girls are so feminine and insecure and doing their damndest to change meanwhile the average butch lesbian is more effortlessly masculine just waking up in the morning.

You mean Kerri Colby? lol. Was actually kinda excited bc his drag mom has some serious status. Kerri was sweet but the talent and even the looks were seriously lacking IMO.

Been thinking of posting some shady screenshots of him in the werk room & outta drag etc. bc they made me think of you guys loool

Everytime Keri comes up on the pitstop, everyone has to acknowledge how beautiful they are. 🙄

Drag used to be making fun of the ideas of gender. Now it just reinforces them.

It's really funny, that everyone openly had a problem with the straight drag queen, but you weren't allowed to say anything about the Aiden participant or the bio-woman on the UK version. Any women on the show should be competing as drag kings, would love if they made the trans women do that haha.

I am sick and tired of people working themselves up into imagining harm done to themselves. This artist, I assure you, did not feel as if she had been stabbed through her entire body.
Counterpoint: this artist is an emotionally fragile, coddled and immature person, performing a story she's already told multiple times to an echo chamber of her clones. She probably does feel stabbed, because feelin' too much about minor stuff seems to be her main problem.

Someone should have reminded her that the dudes in her fanfic are getting fucked all the time, and IRL men get a DRE for prostate cancer without all the premedication she needed for a Pap.

At least this means she's not going to be a seahorse dad, though.

You made it farther then I did. I gave up after season 9 I think. You could really feel the navel gazing starting in season 7, but it was 9 that it really hit the void of pretention and narcissism that's it's known for today.

Every once in a while something would pop up about one of the queens cowing about troonphobia or bEiNg UrSElf~ and I was glad I left.

I thought we "cissies" were the problem? Now they want us to fight for them? In this article they mention the UK which has been accused by many a troon like jim sterling for literally "genociding" trans people but I live here and its the opposite, laws are being changed to protect trans people to the detriment of other groups (like women) so can anyone tell me how and where this holocaust will happen? Link to article for those interested.
Purple Tinker, eh? Maybe its less holocaust and more Russian Revolution exterminating the brony bougeoise.

Kerri is a pretty man buy pretty MAN does not equal beautiful woman. That's like saying a neutered house cat looks like male thorough bredhorse.

Counter counterpoint, and I really do agree with you that this is an immature fragile person in an echo-chamber. She thinks she feels stabbed. Darryl Philbin from The Office said it best when he told Michael he had a nerf life “Sitting on your biscuit, never having to risk it.”

She and people like her want so badly to have the legitimacy of real suffering without having to actually go out and deal with the sandpaper that is a normal life with its normal abrasions that she should be able to handle.

Getting your teets yeeted and a Chipotle burrito installed above your groin is the equivalent of jumping off an office building into a bouncy castle.

It's been 24 hours, and clunes is back to tell ys that actually he's not transitioning after all, and that we should never tell him what to do. The rest is weirdo BPD ramblign and not very interesting.

He's a striking guy- the stubble and long hair look good on him and the shirt is giving new romantics. If he wasn't insane he'd be realling in pussy/bussy no problem. It's a shame that he's clearly completely fucked in the head and massively insecure.

It's just all so self inflicted.

You know, gay/bi people spent decades integrating themselves and making society at large care about them. Every trans doomsayer who's like "THEY'LL COME FOR YOU NEXT!" is forgetting that people genuinely love and have positive memories/associations of Tim Gunn or Queer Eye dudes or Queen Latifah or George Takei or Neil Patrick Harris or Ellen Degeneres (even post-controversy lol) or Jodie Foster or Adam Lambert or Elton John or Lance Bass or...

(Seriously, I had to go "okay, stop, that's more than enough examples.")

But troons did a speedrun. They screamed their way into prominence, with Laverne Cox being about the only trans celebrity who actually, naturally earned widespread recognition to compare to the rest of the list above. They didn't actually win over any hearts. There aren't trans celebs with widespread prominence to point to as a shared cultural-yet-personal experience to go "hey, but I love X! Don't be mean!"

And so now it's sinking in that people don't actually care. That's what you get with zero foundation and a top-heavy movement.

A part of me is glad that things developed as they did, if only so that whatever acceptance that currently exists might one-day crumble. For it's a forced sort of acceptance, born from not wanting to have one's life ruined for not towing the line. It's bound to boil over into something worse, but it's my hope that we'll be able to do away with this acceptance, in the end. It's kind of a good thing that transsexuals have by-and-large bulldozed their way into being accepted, if only because it might make any future resistance more effective, as there's more of a reason to go against it. Whereas the acceptance of homosexuals and lesbians was far subtler and insidious, and will be more difficult to change.
