Russia is legalizing software piracy.

"Against the backdrop of sanctions gaining momentum, Russian authorities are urgently preparing support measures, among which is being discussed the suspension of criminal and administrative liability for use of pirated software “from countries supporting sanctions”. Such a step could temporarily soften the exit from Russia of Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and others, say experts. But, they warn, a large part of significant software from those companies is sold on subscription, which means access to them will be blocked in any event."

i was laughing at burgers and euros for their high oil prices but then i remembered my shithole's oil price is also elevating and i realized it's just going to get worse.
Speaking of oil...

I'm not an automotive fag, but I heard from a mechanic a few days ago that supply of engine oil in the U.S. may suffer. Due to sanctions, its going to be a hit for the auto repair & maintenance industry (along with some others) - it seems that they depend on Russia as the source for it (or at least for the crude oil ingredient). For the Kiwis who are in need of an oil change, you might want to do so ASAP while auto shops find some alternative sources while supply lasts. Be warned that only newer makes and models are suitable for oil changes at this time, while the older hand-me-downs are not. If you are the DiY/mechanic type and know other sources, then you guys need not worry.

If I am absolutely incorrect about this situation, then feel free to bludgeon me with a spanner.

Ah yes it's that time of day where we see the last 50 or so pages rehashed from those too lazy to catch up with what was already reported and discussed.
To be fair, can you expect us burgers to scroll through 50 pages of:

"You are a Russia shill! Ukraine has killed 300,000 Spetnaz!!"
"NO you are a Ukraine shill! Russia has every single Ukrainian unit surrounded without losing a single man!!"

Just to be clear, when she's suggesting, "let it go", who is her intended audience? Her illegitimate "president"? I only ask because the whole thing could pretty much end if he ceased his quest to do what for good reason no one has done since the disillusion of the USSR [and what no one before him actually wanted to do], relinquish the breakaway areas that don't want to be ruled by him and his coup regime and stop acting like you could actually take back Crimea which hasn't been "yours" in any legitimate sense for something like a half a decade or more.
Because Let It Go is a globohomo song that westerners will know. It'd be cuter if she was singing a patriotic song about Ukraine or something but Lyudmila here has grown up on Disney, not her own culture, thus will be a victim when Disney blocks access to their shit in Novorossiya.
Also trying to try putin personally too in the ultimate act of impotence

Time to see what the Hague does. I'm sure the Ukies are thinking Putin will get the same treatment as some random South Slav general for actions done during the Yugoslav Wars. Problem with that thinking is it is easier to bully Stepjan Voijovojovic into giving himself up for ordering the execution of Bosniak villagers than it is the leader of a great(?) power.

I'm surprised that the globohomo hasn't been bitching yet about the flag of Novorossiya.
Pretty sure that is or was a Russian Naval standard as well. I'm sure some retard on Twitter has picked up on this though and just assumed they are CSA fanboys and that the flag has no other history.
Well, there's this:

Also, while using LOTR as an analogy is as retarded as Harry Potter/Star Wars/Marvel, I think less people would get it, so it may not be equally good as a propaganda tool.
The analogy is autistic as fuck and my inner Tolkien nerd hates how badly they fucked the geography up. Is this implying Belarus is going to betray Russia and assume the mantle of Dark Lord of Middle-Europe?

To be fair if you click ignore on Disheveled Human then it comes down to about 25 pages and you have lost zero information in the process.

No way. This guy is doing satire... Right?
I sure hope it is. But knowing leftists, probably not.

#Russia #Ukraine 🇷🇺🇺🇦: Some alleged (unverified) photos of new combatants of Ukrainian "Territorial Defense Forces" (likely in #Lviv).
Combatants appear to have come from #Brazil 🇧🇷, #Portugal 🇵🇹 and #Netherlands 🇳🇱.
All of them can be seen with 7.62x39mm AKMS rifles.

Bragging online about your presence, (probable) location and showing which weapons you have with you. What can possibly go wrong?
One of the commenters says they are wearing Dutch flak jackets. Afaik civilians cannot buy flak jackets in the Netherlands. (didn't verify it)

This is from another 'adventurer' who is fighting along the Ukraine side; posting pics of his sniper position.
I agree it doesn't reveal that much info about his location but it's clear he's on an attic and his rifle is positioned on the left side of the attic.

>Get a selfie for social media points
>Get artillery shell'd/ambushed next morning because the Russians had a bunch of autist who somehow figured out the location entirely because of a brick/foliage pattern that matched in google maps

These people clearly don't know the power of weaponized autism
That or /pol/ got info to the military through a vast network of VPNs.
Kicking globohomo in the nuts:

Apparently there is a document floating around, and plans to unblock a certain torrent site.

This is the classic pro-piracy argument, someone who can't or wouldn't buy your software/movies/music is not damaging your business by pirating lol

Oh shit, Russia is going to be a Country of Pirates?

Now I am ready to pick a side!

My man was ahead of his time

Mother of God. If it was this easy to become pro Russia, Putin would have spent the entire pandemic making claims to whatever he could get his hands on.
Russia published its list of demands. According to the Kremlin, accepting them will mean an immediate withdrawal of all troops and the immediate end of the "military operation".

1. Renounce claim on Crimea and accept it is now Russian
2. Accept the independence of LNR and DNR
3. Change the constitution to enshrine the country's non-participation in any military alliance.

They also pointed out Ukrainean government is not effectively in control of their own country that is effectively being ran by "radical movements".
If I was Ukraine, I'd say 3 was a complete deal breaker. What'd Ukraine say about points 1 and 2 though?
