Hadn't heard about that before, and I'm not finding much info using Google.
I kinda just don't like Zefrank1 because I stopped finding his True Facts videos funny after watching like two of them.

Also late, but I always hated Mister Metokur's streams and liked his videos a lot more. But when I talk to the few people left who don't totally despise him, they tell me his streams were the best. I don't get it.

i like his streams and happy his getting back into it but, i also miss his old style of videos covering weird people and trends. i guess he dosent have it in him to make them anymore and its easier to just do streams. i also guess the super berries and youtube looking down on those style of videos also killed his motivation on making them.

That aside, I have watched some stream clips of his and he can be very annoying. His friends are even worse.

And since I am at it again, Plainly Difficult. His videos have gotten really sloppy over time and he tends to leave in bloopers and second takes. I don't expect big-budget TV documentaries for a YouTube video talking about people fucking with radiation but I do expect basic editing and some standard of quality, especially when a video creator labels their stuff as a documentary.

I think he has the ego to eventually become a mess once his career finally starts losing steam, but it won't be for a few years.

Well, that's just sad. There's something really uncomfortable about people taking fictional characters' names and applying it either to themselves or their kids.

What's funny is that his dog has a pretty normal name iirc. Nah, gotta save the spergery for the kid.

Both Max and his wife are well known Consoomers, so this shouldn't be surprising, but hey, at least they didn't name their kid after a character from Game of Thrones, so it could always be worse.

Everyone is jumping into streaming. It's easy money for zero effort, the amount of money people throw at streamers in the form of "notice me, senpai" superchats always makes me question how the hell do people have this much money if they're willing to throw it away so easily.

The real secret is using streaming to turn your hobbies into a "business". Now that power tool or computer is work related and can be a tax write-off. So you win both ways, even if the amount of money you actually pull in is negligible.
