The average Russian has seen for decades what the west thinks of him, more or less. This would just be confirmation that people's real feelings are what he always though they were.

Logistically it makes the most sense for the Kiev corridor to go to Belarus and the Mariupol corridor to go to Russia. It goes against your argument of letting the Russians buy their time to have the corridors go to Poland, as Russia is not occupying the West of the country. Then there's the issue of Azov, it's unreasonable to expect the Russians to let them escape at this point. The bottom line is, Zelensky had a chance to save people and he passed.

No it doesn't Belarus is part of the invasion force and attacking countries. Why would you send civilians there when they can go to a neutral country.

Because the Russians don't want to harm civilians. They've demonstrated that over the course of the invasion so far. They have the capacity to go full Fallujah and they haven't done it.

Because even if the civilians are going to your enemy, they are still going to be safer and better cared for than if they were stuck in the city.

They quite obviously can't just go to a neutral country because if they could Ukraine would have evacuated them by now.

I hate to see any innocents die but in reality it's been almost two weeks and it could've been a lot worse. What do you think the Russians will do to civilians when they get to Belarus/Russia? Put them in gulags? They want to be able to process them and ensure no azov or enemy combatants are hiding out among them.
