The unofficial embargo on Russia's oil continues, as dock workers in the UK refuse to unload from ships that may have Russian oil.

This comes on the heels of shipping and container companies already pulling out of Russia for fear of getting caught in a sanctions trap.

Furthermore, the canceling of Russian energy exports also effects Kazakhstan, since most their oil goes though a pipeline to a Russian port city on the black sea

Gentlemen, we may witness the Western world (especially Europe) literally virtue signal its way into a depression. The US and Canada could position themselves very handsomely in these times, but both countries are effectively run by cat ladies who despise the natural resource industry for political and personal reasons. And with talk of the USD risking its reserve currency status, it could set off an Apocalypse in the United States that could turn out worse than the depression.
Impossible not to repeat yourself with this. Destroy your economy to trigger the Russian, own the Russian. Instead buy oil from the Saudis who're not at all involved in a much more inhumane war in Yemen at this very moment. But it's okay, those guys are just sandniggers.

lol these niggers can't even recognize their own sides' shit.

Hope they packed a lunch.
Oh my god what if the reddit legion actually ends up draining all the food banks in Kiev before they even get to shoot a bullet, i'll laugh my ass off if suddenly the Ukrainian army runs out of food rations because the reddit squad ate them all and only exacerbated the food shortage

Covid lockdowns has already caused a recession, this is just the icing on the cake. This is how the consequences of the covid mass hysteria will be sold to the public

The UPA weren't Nazis though, and didn't side with the Nazis. Him being part of the UPA alone does not mean he's a Nazi.
Any ambiguities with regard to the UPA don't apply to this person because he is one of the members of the UPA that ended up fighting inside Germany at the end of the war. There isn't any doubt as to the sympathies of the particular units that someone like him would have belonged to.

Hypothetically if you don't use twitter we shouldn't have a problem anyway.

But: callout posting, virtue signaling, link shilling (especially charities and NGOs), hope police nonsense, moralfaggotry, doubleposting and treating quotes like retweets for starters.

This should all be basic stuff to avoid if you've used this website for any length of time. I hope to crack down on the influx of retards from Twitter, Reddit, 4chan, Discord, etc who keep shitting up this board. That rule is for them, not KF users.
Okay that's good, I understand all of these except for "hope police", after that I should be all good.

Its essentially the polar opposite of doom posting, where there's an overwhelming (self-serving) response to someone expressing negativity on a current event. It is likewise just as empty and annoying as its counterpart.

The US needed to apply anti-inflationary measures anyway which inevitably would have led to a recession. They are simply doing with oil prices what they had intended to do with interest rates had there been no war.. Its a perfect policy because people will literally cheer in the streets for a recession.

Fox News has a segment on tens of thousands of foreign volunteers arriving to fight for Ukraine and it could be as many as 100,000 soon. What would the logistics be for Ukraine in feeding, housing and equipping these thousands of foreign volunteers, most of who don't speak Ukrainian and if there is a smidgen of truth to it, could this be an end run around NATO? Just wondering.
As we see in the /reddit thread, unintegrated foreigners that can't tell the difference between Ukrainians and Russians are just going to fuck with Ukrainians.

And there's nothing wrong with that

So now instead of having a lasting-if-uneasy peace with the Russians, we've forced them into an alliance with the majority of the planet's population against us.

The minds behind US diplomacy since the Cold War ended could not have fucked us harder if they'd tried.
They've even pushed India into China's corner somehow.

immediate family was asking about the idea that "wait, are things really this bad" and I had to explain the cultural meanings of DEFCON 2
and so I got into "this may be unlikely but..." and had to drop the harsh truth of why as somebody who has to follow international politics for a living why I just drink from the bottle these days
Tom Lehrer is based. My favorite song of his is this
The Chinese line is very foreshadowing if you looked at it from these days POV
This is incorrect. You have the right to be as pro-Ukraine or pro-Russia as you want. Aggressive shilling and suspiciously copypasta-like, preformatted posts with links to established propaganda sources are what will tip me off to shilling, as well as people trying to obviously start shit in this thread. This extends somewhat to blatant nationalism. Fedposting is not the only thing that glows in the dark.
Genuine question, what would be considered as established propaganda sources? Russia/Ukraine Government? CNN? Fox News? The suspiciously biased Twitter accounts (on both sides)?

I'm sure they won't have any problem with housing, considering how many people have left the country will resulted in many empty building/houses. Food..I don't know, probably buying or receiving supplies from the West

For language though, I'm thinking they're probably going to choose a Ukrainian soldier that can speak their language to act as a liaison between command and the units. Its not like people didn't know of this method in the history of war. Ancient Roman legions used this method for their Auxiliarii. Beside, pretty sure most people can speak basic English these days

Those cat ladies are going get chased off by the big dogs, and I say this as a cat lady (but not only do I demand a repeal of restrictions on our oil industry I demand we build more nuclear power plants right now).
