Can I nominate Zelensky for the Biggest Bitch Award of 2022 or is it too early yet?
The year has just started, but please note how both sides have changed their rhethoric: Putin no longer calls for "denazification", whatever that means, and will settle for UA neutrality and relinquishing Crimea and DPR. Zelensky no longer wants to be admitted into EU and NATO NOW NOW NOW NOW and can live with security guarantees.

Could they have started inching towards the middle ground in the negotiations? 🌈🌈🌈

That’s more likely and it makes it even more uncalled for.
I mean if you believe the Ukraine shills narrative of Ukrainian civilians going Rambo behind Russian lines with AT missiles and Aks then I can't really fault Ruskies for firing on vehicles that get too close. This is why the Geneva conventions call for all combatants to be clearly marked. Else you give grunts a reason to do this.

You wanted total war, now you have it Ukraine.

Turning every civilian into a fighter was a evil plan.
All wars have the potential to become total wars, and this one was more likely then others. Putin pushed Ukraine into a corner and trussed it like a pig for the slaughter. They don't have any wiggle room which meant the only way out for the country is through the Russian Army.

It also should be pointed out you can't just force a civilian population to actively resist an invasion. These things happen naturally. It is also not the fault of the people being invaded. The entire moral burden lays on the invader. This isn't total war being fought on Russian soil, and there is nothing evil about anyone resisting the enemy with everything they have.

Nigger, they fired warning shots and the car stood still. Are elderly drivers that retarded they think they're important enough to drive down the same road as a Russian convoy?

This war has absolutely exposed the intelligence of the average civilian, I get Slavic stoicisim but there's some times you just turn the fuck around and run.

If you want a quick rundown of why ukrainian government gives a little to no fucks about their citizens, this Twitter thread is a good start (archive). I can confirm everything that was said there is true.

Pics from the thread

I take back everything I ever said about the Biden Cabinet being awful. They may just be Obama Era rehires but at least they are somewhat competent at their jobs. I genuinely pity Ukrainians for being so lied and betrayed by their elite, I mean shit, even in America our masters wouldn't act so callous in regards to their people.

Fuck Zelensky and his Oligarch masters, he is truly one of the most retarded politicians out there.
Wait until it emerges he's been living in Poland for the past few weeks while urging his brave Kiev fighters to fight until the last man.
Thought I was going to wait until he bends over for Putin but this will do.

This makes me so sad.
The Ukrainian people have been fooled, they think they defend their independent nation against the agression of those who ruled over them for hundreds of years and genocided them a hundred years ago.
In reality, their government was on the best way to make Ukraine a puppet state of the EU and America.
After this process started, there were only two options: puppet of the west or puppet of Russia.
If the average Ukrainian was shown what the west stands for, from black lives matter over LGBT to the abolition of nation-states, they would probably prefer being a Russian puppet.
Dude, they have DPR/LPR at eastern border, a living example of what it looks like when Russia comes to their homes (it looks like hellhole). It's better to be a whatever Western puppet than this.
Even with planes and pilots available, they'd most likely need to fly them off other countries. There's also Russian's own SHORAD threat.
However it seems Russia is resorting to low-level flying precisely because they still fear the Ukrainian SAM threat, so I'm not sure they desperately need more SAMs when MANPADS seem to be what's driving their AA kill count.
I have no idea what's going on when it comes to drones, but in Desert Storm the US used decoy drones as sacrificial targets to get defenses to fire on them and betray their positions. If Ukrainian forces are having success with drone strikes on columns I wonder if sending them a good number of decoys would help them expand drone operations.
Low-level flying was because of clouds and shitty target-aquisition systems, I'm sure. Also, modern SAMs would shot down Kalibr/Tochka missiles at least and protect airfields so planes could fly.

Not evil, simply retarded. Hyping up your population on a total war, which this wasn't, giving them weapons and placing bounties on Russian tanks will change nothing about the outcome but will see them mowed down.

To be honest what would be needed would be UN forces stationed there to keep Ukraine safe and prevent both sides from shenangians (big fucking chance that won't stop) And which country would be sane enough to lend forces for this powderkeg? This feels more and more like a repeat of the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1938 with the BIG difference that this time shots were fired. And even if the conflict is ended this way does anyone think Russia will be welcomed back into the banking system, inteernet, what have you? Putin will most likely use the sanction as pretext to rid Russia of unwanted media and push the Russian banking alternative to Mastercard / Visa (with maybe some support from "wrongthinkers"). Hardening for future wars and also a creation of a paralell economy. Or as some would say a slap in the face for globohomo

The first warning shot that shattered the glass of the driver?
See, I am not a very smart autist. I do things that are considered 'tistic from time to time.

Driving up to tanks on a mission during a war is pretty low on that list of choices I'm gonna make. See tank, do this. I, uh, tend to do that when I see bad drivers in general, I'm pretty sure active war machines fall upon that list for me.

Okay, that's a good one, good joke.

What... the... fuck?
During ancient sieges or assaults civilians would hurl down tiles or masonry or use simple weapons. Using everyone and everything to fight an enemy who caused the starvation and murder of 10 million, Holmodor in the 30s is reasonable. Putin's state is a successor to the USSR. Putin has likened Communism (killer of 100 million) to Christianity. The Ukies probably prefer to fight like hell. That tribe who provide the Commisars to Stalin are now oligarchs. Zelenskyy is a Jew (so is Putin through his mother) but Putin is ordering the death and devastation.

It's always been a problem, but after the coup in 2014 it became a disaster, they threw away everyone who didn't support them and put loyal retards, who supported the coup. There was a ukrainian minister of health, who had USA citizenship and wasn't even a medical professional. For some time there was a minister of defense who spent all his time in the army in support troops i.e. without actual combat training, at one point in 2014 he claimed that ukies were attacked by nukes on Donbass, I am not kidding, this is ukrainian source, just use translator. There was also a minister of railroad, who was a fucking musician and had no idea how any of this works.

Pootin is on the run now. My paper airplane and I stand with Ukraine.

This is Leftism in the 21st century in one episode. The target of your little performance isn't going to give a shit, you look like an idiot doing it and you're going to piss off the poor slobs stuck cleaning it up. Y'know the theoretical "working class" this sort stands in solidarity with. I'll take my Easter Island trophy for being a politisperg, but its true.

Oh my heckin envormento and heckin global warming and littering, only when we do it, it's for a good cause of course.

The occupants of the car had their view obstructed by the trees, and still stopped what seemed to be 30 yards from the t-junction.
You can see the driver side window crack during the "warning shot" volley. It's possible they were injured by the same volley that hit the pavement and trees. Even then, it's normal for someone to freeze in fear. The armored vehicle gives the shocked, and possibly injured, elderly couple a grand total of 4 seconds before blasting it with direct fire.
Say what you want, but they didn't think they were more important than the convoy as they clearly gave them right of way and plenty of space. It's perfectly normal for everyday people to fumble with their reactions and not be able to keep cool like a combat veteran who can perform while bullets are whizzing past his head. The "warning" shots potentially injured the driver as we can see puffs of smoke from the windshield and his driver side window crack.
Driving up to tanks on a mission during a war is pretty low on that list of choices I'm gonna make. See tank, do this.
There's a white building on the right side and several trees partially blocking the view. The driver seems to have slowed down and come to a halt as soon as he noticed the vehicles coming up the t-junction.
Sorry man, you probably wouldn't have done that. The convoy most likely appeared out of nowhere from the perspective of the driver, and they immediately started getting pelted.

See, I am not a very smart autist. I do things that are considered 'tistic from time to time.

I'm not implying that driving towards the tanks was a smart idea.
I'm implying that you can't call someone shooting you in the head with a bullet a warning shot.
