I’ll keep my retarded truck, thanks.
The longer you keep a vehicle on the road, the better for Mother Gaia. Running a second or third hand truck means there is no manufacturing process carbon to offset. I want to see the amount of carbon used to make a tesla and where the break even point is.

Forgive my ignorance, but are they just getting restricted to the region (so they could technically use a VPN to circumvent the ban) or is it going to be a completely separate entity/structure to the rest of the global internet?
My understanding that it's a complete disconnect from the western internet, similar to North Korea's Kwangmyong Network. I'm still reading up on matters, but it looks like VPNs would be non-functional

The golden arches have fallen in Russia. May Russians remember the arches as a symbol of freedom and better times.

It first arrived as a beacon of modernity and peace, bridging the relationship between the USA and the USSR.

Boris Yeltsin, a brave man who saw the potential of capitalism to deliver high fructose diabetes food in the USA brought the miracle of modern food to Russia.

And here we see the modern Russians, suicidally depressed over the imminent departure of this global brand of freedom and prosperity.

Why should I take the people sending tanks into a neighboring country at their word when they refuse to call their armed invasion a war? Even the U.S. was honest about calling the war in Iraq a war.

Electric vehicles are not fucking sustainable you retarded asshole, lithium is expensive & has a limited shelf life, Teslas are constantly breaking down & excessively difficult to repair.

Can electric vehicles even be resold after their batteries deteriorate? What would the used car market for electric vehicles look like?

Biden’s solution to the rising gas prices “all because of Putin”

It’s honestly like they are deliberately trying to crash the economy. I can’t decide if they actually are to fulfill their fucked up globalist ideals or if they are really just this incompetent

I lived in a European country twice, the first time there was no McDonalds and all the women were skinny and fit. The second time, there were McDonalds everywhere and all the women looked as fat as American women.

“Just have the poors buy $45,000 Teslas to solve the energy crisis,” says an actual retard.

Oil is used for more than just the gas in your car, you demented retard. It goes into plastics, the very fucking road you drive on, it is what powers a significant portion of our homes and business, and is (as of this moment) a keystone of our entire civilization.

I drive my fuel-thirsty square body Chevy about six thousand miles a year. If I were to replace it with a base model Tesla, which is so shitty in its production that it makes the actual Down syndrome engineers of Chevrolet in the 80s look like Mensa members, I’d be out $45,000.

Rounding up at $5 a gallon (which it isn’t), I spent about $2200 a year to drive 6,000 miles. It would take me 20 years for that investment to pay off at that rate and there’s no way that Tesla is still too to be chugging around after that much time or that the company will even exist.

This, of course, isn’t taking account of truck things I need my truck for, like towing trailers, carrying heavy shit, or lying to my friends that it is broke down when they need furniture moved.

I’ll keep my retarded truck, thanks.
For the same reason this raises American gas costs, this is going to lower Chinese oil costs (smaller market, same supply) maybe leading to cheaper plastics? That shit is made in China, right?

People need to stop thinking about this in American terms. If this was an American invasion going this badly for something that wasn't an immediate existential threat, congress would take action to limit the President's power and force him to cease hostilities. They told people to be ready for thousands of losses in Desert Storm, but everyone knew how low Iraqi morale was.

Russians have kind of a bug person mentality. Not like the gooks, but enough that they're ok being cannon fodder, because their lives are pretty shitty, and they don't have the false hope of worthwhile social mobility that their American counterparts have. They know their lives will continue to be shitty, so they do parachute drops without air support. They roll their tanks through forests without scout vehicles, screening infantry, or loitering air support. They eat MREs that expired in 2001, and don't care that their officers skimmed money that was supposed to go to maintaining vehicles and weapons, because petty corruption is a part of life in Russia. They follow orders directly from command, and don't care that they're not given flexibility the way American officers are. They don't think about their supply lines being overextended, because someone else is supposed to think about that. This thinking dates back to the days of the Tsars, and then Communism solidified the bugmind. It's probably how the mind virus of bolshevism was able to infect the Russians so effectively, and the Chinks even more. You can see it in the Russo Japanese War. You can see it in how they fought in WW1. Only someone like Lenin could deliver the right false promises to get them to turn, and that was after years of horrific losses and poor morale.
They're not gooks, so when faced with utter hopelessness, they piss their pants and surrender or run if there's not a commissar behind them. But for every one that gets captured or desert, three or four are able to pummel the enemy or rush past them. Best bet to defeat them is to be in particularly difficult territory, like the Japanese in the Russo Japanese War, or the Finns in the Winter War. Ukraine is not an island with a warrior culture and equally potent bugmind. Nor is it a tundra with well educated and motivated people, supplied by the Nazis with good weapons . The Russians have invaded Ukraine four times in the 20th century if I remember correctly. They'll probably get a fifth, unless globochomo can stop them with economic warfare and information warfare, similar to how the Germans stopped them by releasing Lenin.

It's also typical for the early days of a Russian military operation to be wraught with incompetence. It's a survival of the fittest situation. They can lose enough troops, so that the ones who survive become battle hardened. They're like the .1% of germs Clorox can't kill. Their parents threw themselves into the shit at Chernobyl and Afghanistan. Their grandparents threw themselves upon Nazi Germany without question. Now it's their turn.

We shall see if things have changed enough to make it fail strategically. But tactically, the Russians are winning in classic Russian fashion.
Doesn't always work. Top three greatest naval victory of all time. The Battle of Tsushima.

5,045 dead Russians dead. 7 battleships destroyed. 14 other ships destroyed.

117 dead Japanese dead. Some boats destroyed.

126,792 tonnage sunk vs. 450 tonnage sunk.

The Russians had no ships left in their navy so they surrendered the war.

Wow, that's actually pretty wild. I guarantee they'll have better memes than us westerners do though.

After Biden got ghosted by the Saudies, I'm inclined to believe the latter. I truly believe they got high on their 'moral highground' farts and thought that the 'forces of good' would prevail.

I doubt that, why would they use the term "intact" over alive? Intact to me implies that these soldiers are still capable of military actions, and I doubt that they would use language to purposely make Russia seem stronger.
Intact is really weird word to use too, the first thing that makes me think of is people being in one piece as opposed to many pieces blown all over the place from a missile strike.
