The talks on Thursday will be the make-or-break day, Russians would probably keep their same requests since last time, No NATO, EU, Demilitarization, Recognize Crimea and the breakaway states.
The sticker for Ukraine has to be no EU clause at this point given what Zelensky has said over the past days, since like NATO it has a defense clause which will give them security, not to mention the whole 2014 coup was because of a lot of Ukrainians wanting to join the EU (and the EU 'encouraging' some of them). If they can get the Russians to drop the no EU part and if Zelensky isn't exceptional this war will end Thursday, this war lasting longer risks the Russians finally making a breakthrough into one of the major cities they've been trying to capture for weeks and gaining significant leverage.
Of course, that's assuming the Russians are publicly truthful with their goals for the peace deal, which a large part of me doubts.

Fucking USA has really tried to screw Poland over. Luckily our government caught up.
They are now refusing to accept our MIG planes and send them over to Ukraine. But they were totally supportive of us doing it (which could have resulted in Poland being suspended from NATO i believe).
It's actually quite worrying that even a warmongering powerhouse like US doesn't want to get involved in a war with Russia.
That ugly cackling bitch Kamala is coming to Warsaw tomorrow together with Justin Trudeau. Nobody in Poland gives a shit cos they know they are only here for a photo opportunity. Trudeau is gonna hug some Ukrainian refugees for the camera and tell them they are welcome in Canada.
Also i am utterly and totally shocked how two of the most unvaccinated nations in the world are currently mingling unmasked in super crowded places and no hospitals overwhelmed with covid yet.

Would be on their best interest, time to relax tensions, sort out the disaster that its gonna be your relationships and economy after this and organize the new regions.
Also i think a big part of what the army will do next is fix all of their broken shit, which will DEFINETLY take an assload of time after that they might be free to expand again but at that point what else could they want from Ukraine if they concede on all points?
I find it more likely they'll expand south rather than continue anywhere west, if i was Kazakhstan i'd be shitting my pants rn

Bob Geldof among line-up for fundraising event in support of Ukraine
Bob Geldof and Imelda May have been announced as part of the line-up for a musical and arts event launched to raise money for Ukraine.
The Night for Ukraine will be held at the Roundhouse in north London on Wednesday evening, with the funds raised being donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeal to provide aid to people fleeing Ukraine.
Ukrainian born pop duo Bloom Twins, who helped organise the event, will also perform alongside The Pretenders star Chrissie Hynde and Ukrainian baritone and principal artist for the Royal Opera House Yuriy Yurchuk.

Irish singer Geldof said he was keen to get involved with the fundraising event and wanted to do what he could to support the Ukrainian people.
He added: “At least it stops me feeling so utterly impotent if only for an hour or two. You can do the same by simply showing up and enjoying yourself. See you there.”
Bloom Twins explained that as Ukrainians it had been “humbling” to see the support their country was receiving from the rest of the world.
“We are really looking forward to being a part of this project, and not just as a one-off performance but as creative collaborators,” they said.
“This is an absolute honour to be representing our country and helping people caught up in this devastating conflict.
“There is so much every one of us can do to make a difference and even though it’s called ‘Night for Ukraine’, the impact of it will last much longer than a night. It will belong in our memories forever.”
The evening will also feature the resident choreographer of The Royal Ballet, Wayne McGregor, and a special performance from The London Community Gospel Choir.
A host of other artists are set to perform on the night including Jack Garratt, Eckoes, Peter Xan, Tom Baxter, Joseph Toonga, Nadeem Din Gabisi, Joseph Lawrence and Archive.
The project has been organised by the founder of Secret Cinema, Fabien Riggall, in collaboration with the Bloom Twins and Sunflower Relief, alongside Phoenix Court, Roundhouse, Sofar Sounds, Platoon and Lost.
Night for Ukraine is also encouraging other artists, organisers and venues to stage their own night across the nation to support DEC.
The DEC brings together 15 of the UK’s leading aid charities, including British Red Cross, Oxfam UK and Save the Children UK, who are working on the ground in Ukraine and at the country’s borders to help those fleeing the conflict.
The evening will also feature an address from DEC chief executive Saleh Saeed, who said they were “grateful” to the Night for Ukraine event for its help to fundraise during this “critical time”.
He noted that the public reaction to the appeal had been “incredibly generous” so far with £120 million raised in five days.
Saeed added: “Our members are working tirelessly with local partners to reach people in Ukraine swiftly as the brutal conflict turns lives upside down.
“Families, including many children, have been forced to leave everything they know behind to find safety and desperately need food, water and shelter.
“The DEC exists to mobilise the British public’s generosity and goodwill at times of crisis overseas, and this is one of those moments.2

This question makes me go well, what's better - having the money and not being able to buy shit because the shelves are empty or not having the money to buy the shit on the shelves? I, personally, prefer the latter, because getting money is largely a matter of time and effort, but no amount of hard work and determination will help you when the entire industry is gone or has been retooled to make exclusively chamberpots that can double as helmets for the glorious army or whatever.
And the way things are going, it looks like we are heading towards the third option of having neither.
