I remember back in the day I thought "Phil hates every single new fighting game because it doesn't exactly play like ST" was a bit of an exaggeration, but Phil is the man who proves that reality will always be stranger than fiction. Alternatively, if Phil has history with a fighting game then he hates the new games because it doesn't play exactly like a specific iteration in the 90s, for Tekken it's 3, for KoF it's I assume '98. And what's craziest of all is that it's all because combos have become longer, his brain is so demolished by gin, fast food and self-imposed isolation that he can't handle learning 10+ hit combos and wants the old robust "do cross up into 2 hits into special move" 45-60% combos which is somehow more skillful than doing a cross up into 9 hits, 2 of which you had to burn meter for for a 55% combo? I remember mentioning earlier in the thread but in ST DeeJay can get a 100% combo off of an ambiguous cross-up.

Combos, that's the thing he bitches about, the more or less easiest thing to learn because in the end combos come down to muscle memory, getting your opponent into situations where you are able to unleash those combos on them is what was always the most important part about fighting games. That's where all the skill comes in, not remembering combos. His rants about new fighting games being "casualized" is because he can't remember a sequence of about a dozen attacks and wants to go back to the times where you did the same damage with 3-4 attacks, which is somehow more skillful because ???

Almost $600 a month on car payments when dude doesn't leave the house. Just get groceries delivered and take an uber to run errands biweekly or something.

Machoor adult needs a car though. When he croaks his car will literally be one of those "driven once a week by an old lady pigroach" ones
What gets me is that the car isn't even for flexing purposes, which would help justify the expense at least a little bit. It's just yet another way in which Phil is stupid and wasteful with his money.

And calls even more attention to their obviously being something in his life these days that didn't used to be there, and he is lying about. With being wasteful his whole life, there's really no other explanation for why it suddenly became such a problem a few years ago, that he stopped being able to afford his taxes on time. He used to make even more money back in the day, and didn't need to be on a payment plan with the IRS.

This makes no sense, with anyone established to always be stupid with their money, unless there's a new significant expense that comes into play one day. We know it isn't medical bills or a child.
"Can you update your Patreon?
"No"
Proceeds to go for a 5 minute reason why he wants you to give him money for nothing in return and will not update his patreon. Real reason? He is just exploiting people that forgot to cancel their patreon pledge.

Already almost back to last year's numbers when he begged for patreon pledges when Twitch took away his partnership. (Yellow is # of patreons, green is $$$)

Even more evidence of Champions. Phil isn't just being lazy or scummy, his brain is so fixated on the gacha funds that he doesn't think about anything else, or want to. He breathes such a sigh of relief every day he succeeds in grifting the retards. He is constantly terrified of it suddenly not working anymore, because the day it fails, is a day he's not prepared for, and he doesn't want to be. He's an addict, and he wants to keep that going, for as long as possible, because the alternative means growing up.

Most addicts get sucked in from having it in their genes. Phil got hooked because he's a child. His biggest lie isn't gacha, it's the fear he has always had of an adult's lifestyle. An ACTUAL adult's lifestyle.

Listen retard, doing a simple ABC combo with a Nemesis/Thanos/Hulk team with a lot of hyper armor and the Infinity Stone to revive my guy and double team your ass like Kat's bull and homies, is way more skillful than a simple Dante doing a 50+ hit combo that requires way more muscle memory. Yes Leanna left me and I'm still hungover.

All these new fighting games are just commercialism. First few days I was kicking ass at KOF then 5 days later people learned retarded damaging combos and it's fucking bullshit. Anyway I look forward to a new Tekken game.

aaaand phil just unintentionally answered my question about OBS, noticed a tip that the pop-up didn't play while looking directly left. So basically he's eye fucking himself while scanning hard for tips. OBS has his two favorite things.

He also read a guide, it's so painfully obvious. He's rambling like a kid who did something wrong but wants to keep changing he subject so no one suspects them and he's a bad liar and actor

EDIT - 40 year old mature adult gets confused by flooded ruins but can see frame rates change to the frame.

I guess he's still leasing then - considering the cost - leasing makes sense if you're changing cars every 3 years and you *ABSOLUTELY* need the car daily...and use it for business purposes. (the - most likely - increased cost of the car has a value compared to lost income as you know exactly how much to budget rather than 100/month and then shit hits the fan and you're paying 5K that month)

For Phail it makes as much sense as paying for Game Pass Ultimate, it serves no purpose at all, pure waste of money....the amount he wastes on sweaty man jpegs is at least something that gives him pleasure of the sort that makes him wonder if the camera is on...

I honestly don't get it. Phil is so fucking lazy that he refuses to put in extra work that would take off a huge burden of his work during his stream so he can be extra lazy. It just boggles my mind. Do you know how much time Phil could save during streams if he fucking setup a stream deck...You know a Stream Deck that was given to him for FREE?

Yeah but you see that extra work will be done by current Phil and only benefit future Phil, so you see why your suggestion is just stupid ...right?

There's at least a small part of Phil that recognizes his unique shortcomings that are arguably insurmountable for him, and lashes out over it. It's understandable to an extent, and would elicit sympathy were it just about anybody else. I mean imagine noticing that everyone around you has muscle memory and you just simply don't. Plenty don't have to imagine such a scenario, they live it, because they can't whistle, or can't walk, or can't see, or whatever. And they're surrounded by people who just can. It was luck of the draw. It can be frustrating, or even depressing. Most understand this, many go through it, and Phil stands apart from them because he would never sympathize with anyone else, ever. It's all about him, forever. Superblindman can't see, but Phil doesn't get to curbstomp any of the big names in the FGC and get to run all the way away from the insecure little boy he is inside by basking in the resulting adulation from people he'll gladly spit on even as they bow to him, and that's totally so much more relevant.

Like I said, every single day, Phil feels relief from the end of the gravy train being delayed for another day. If he really felt so secure in his ownership of a daily drip from the retards that will never be disrupted, he wouldn't be staring so hard at that tip notification, wanting to be aware, the nanosecond that one appears.

When I think of how much better his life would be right now if mobile games didn't exist...

At this point in his life he needs to just go clean shaven. That goatee is losing more territory ever day
Its to hide/distract from his chins and jowls. Instead of them being 80% of what youre staring at in 1, its split into 2, partially covered and youre distracted. He has no definition on his chin, he has a blob of fat. He has no jawline, just sagging jowls.

There are some people who grow facial hair or style their hair (he does both) to hide or distract from things. Phil is one of those people and he is too fragile to change that

I am finding more and more difficult to listen to the Prestream Podcast anymore.

The lies and misinformation have become bigger and bigger and more outlandish. Him claiming other game developers are slanderizing Elden Ring is just insane as Elden Ring within the gaming community is meh at best. Shitting on EVO and the FGC is going to be the new arc.

I honestly thought that YouTube and Twitch were going to crack down on this type of shit but it seems to be going nowhere.
