I mean there are Imperial females in legends(and one or two I know of in canon), but I bet my life on them being secret rebels or some shit.
Well there's Daala and Isard but they have special positions. Same with Mara Jade and Roganda Ismaren. Besides that there are probably a few others but I know there aren't a ton. Specifically back in Palpatine days.

One of the problems with the prequels is it misses the implications the original trilogy made about the backstory:

It implied that the Jedi were a secret organization that no one knew about, not a government agency with a giant tower in the middle of coruscant, it implied that most people weren't aware that the force was a real thing you could actually use, etc.

Now Disney is going to ignore the implication that Obi Wan was doing nothing in the desert for around 20 years because if he was doing Jedi stuff people would have noticed and talked about it.

Did they? The OT just says that the Jedi were members of an ancient religion all but wiped out by the Empire. Nobody denied the existence of the force, it was just considered a “hokey religion” and “insignificant against the power of this battle station”.

I was rereading the Dark Horse Clone Wars comics about the Battle of Jabiim and in those comics Obi-Wan comments that there are only a few thousand Jedi in a galaxy with at least hundreds of thousands of settled planets. Not many people are going to see or let alone try to understand the Jedi. Most probably see them as some weird cult of wizard warriors.

Was that ever the case though? I just assumed going by the OT that the Jedi were a group of samurai warrior monks that were made up of such small numbers (considering the amount of people with force potential in the first place plus how big the galaxy is) that, after being almost entirely wiped out decades ago, most people didn't know they existed or that they were just a myth. The PT is in line with what the OT set up for the most part. Though I will say some of the small details don't line up as well.

Bob Chapek is a notorious cheapskate, that and Iger's damned 20th Century Fox purchase really put Disney in the red. So they're probably trying to find every way to cut corners in the budget while still trying to deliver a cgi coomfest to satisfy the casual consoomer.
Everyone knows Disney really bought them for X-Men so they don’t have the MCU out of gas right away.

He looks like Xi in green make up holy shit.

I thought Disney would never talk shit about their buddy Xi

@NoReturn posted a comprehensive article with webms of just how unhinged the Disney Wars hotel is over in the consoomer thread (tagging @Kyria the Great because I know you want to hear more about how cringe this thing is).

I thought this was bad before but Disney Lucasfilm just finds new ways to disgust me. Its also pretty telling how quickly this became irrelevant after discussion for this rat trap quickly died out as more footage started to get out.

Hell most of the discussions online just seem to be idiots bragging about how they wasted 50 dollars on shitty knickknacks and entrees you could get at some hipster restaurant for half the price.

I don't know how else to describe it. Also what the hell is up with that Chewbacca costume? Motherfucker's eyeholes aren't even straight holy fuck.

Jiminy Christmas on a fucking pogostick, the Big Bang Theory was a mistake.

Nice fucking graphics btw imagineers. Totally makes you feel like outer space.

Did these people exist twenty years ago? I've been a Wars fan for years, and pre-Disney buyout I don't remember cartoon characters with bad die jobs and soy cuts being present in great numbers.

You know, all the people that bitch about people rightfully rejecting the fucking prequels and trying, and failing, to connect that to Disney? If I was feeling like a prick I could argue this the prequel generation at work...

Again, the only thing in that shithole that had value was the restaurant and entertainment, and fuck you for expecting people to pay thousands for that.

I feel so bad for the actors who will get let go when the place becomes a money sink. All the paid off instagrammers and botnets in the world won't make the actual place sell with what it has.

What also gets me is that by releasing these videos they have basically given away the whole show for this. Now everyone knows the details "exciting immersive event" beforehand.

When I look at it it just makes me furious as I despise (as I know all of us do) that cheap ST aesthetic everything has.

The real kicker is that one of those videos has a spoiler warning.

If you were to tell me a few years ago that consoomers would feel the need to put spoiler alerts on their videos about a fucking hotel, I would never have believed you. Yet here we are.

I'm less surprised by this development and more surprised that THIS is what's making people in the StarWarsLeaks subreddit finally go "No, this is too much. Mando's ruined."
Filoni was unable to kill one of his non-evil pet characters and brought them back from destruction for no reason?! Again?! I am shocked! Shocked I tell you!/sneed

Now to wait for the eventual resurrection of Plo Koon now that there's no one to tard wrangle Filoni's own assburgers.

It's probably because it's such a dumb and bad idea I felt my soul rocket into a coffin with disgust and laughter even with Star Wars being dead-dead.

Dave you fucking retard.

First footage of the Galaxy Starcruiser Hotel experience is beginning to surface online via guest footage, and I can't power through it.

I literally can't. Everything from the cast interactions, to the acting, to the "stunts", is so awkward and cheap. This hotel is a literal Prison of Cringe you're forced to endure for four days and $6K.
It's cheaper and more fun to drop a few hundred on VR and Vader immortal. Actually feels Like having a proper theme park ride in your room.
That's not a terrible plot device to get Obi off Tatooine, but opens the plot hole of Leia not recognizing Kenobi. Edit: Or the ANH message including "Oh also you rescued me when I was 10 and I need bailed out again".
But, as we know - while it could be good, it is Disney so it won't be good.

But we'll have a half-dozen abused wives in this thread talking about """borrowing""" a D+ subscription to give Disney their time and braincells for something they know they won't really enjoy and let us all know they give it a solid C+.
Sail the high seas, buy it on DVD! (if its good)
This thing appeared in the Mandolorian s1 finale as a droid that ferried Mando and friends across a river of lava and was destroyed soon after

Honestly was one of the more memorable parts because of just outta left field this was
I was saddened when they killed it. Had the perfect mixture of disturbing and cute.

Bringing in a bunch of unkillable inquisitors from rebels and putting them in unrecognizable shittty makeup is not instilling confidence. If they only have a handful of scenes then fine, but mannn....

My fucking god. That hotel seriously looks gay as fuck. It would be foolish to waste money on this hotel.
