Any study of infectious disease carries the risk of a leak. By far most study of infectious disease are not for weapons purposes. You never even backed up your original claim.
If covid was manufactured there would be biological evidence of the fact that can't just be "covered up," which is why I'm interested in what Russia has to back up their claims about biolabs in Ukraine. Bioweapons have the potential to be more dangerous than nuclear ones because while you can't exactly silently deploy a nuke, but you can certainly do so with a disease.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett pushed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept an offer from Russian President Vladimir Putin, which would require Kyiv to make significant concessions in order to end Moscow’s invasion, the Walla and Haaretz news site report.

Walla does not divulge the details of Putin’s offer, but previous reports from the news site said that Putin is demanding an independent Donbas region, but stopping short of regime change in Ukraine.

“If I were you, I would think about the lives of my people and take the offer,” Bennett told Zelensky during a phone call on Tuesday, according to a senior Ukrainian official who spoke to Walla and Haaretz on condition of anonymity.

Zelensky did not take well to the proposal, responding with a brief “I hear you.”

“Bennett has proposed that we surrender,” the senior Ukrainian official tells the Israeli news sites. “We have no intention of doing so. We know that Putin’s proposal is just the beginning.”

The report says that Israel has also asked that Ukraine cease its requests for military or defense assistance, as this could hinder Jerusalem’s efforts to mediate and maintain neutrality.

The official pointed out that other countries such as Germany and France have also played roles in passing along messages between Russia and Ukraine while still maintaining a clear public stance against Moscow’s invasion, unlike Israel.

Zelensky’s office has identified a large gap between Bennett’s position and that of the Israeli public, which has been far more supportive of Ukraine, the official says. This has led to significant frustration and even personal offense on the part of Zelensky with the Israeli government, according to the senior official.

The official went as far as to say that Zelensky feels that he has all but exhausted his efforts to influence the Israeli government.

Funny you should mention that. Facebook is slackening its moderation standards to allow for calling for the death of Russian soldiers (and Putin). In response, Russian prosecutor general's office is calling to designate the entire META group as an extremist organiszation. Then Meta said Russia’s crackdown on its service is "retaliation for the company’s fact-checking of content published by Russian state media".

Near the start of last thread I said it would be interesting to see a war in the social media age. The real question is how many F-16s and F-15s are needed for SEAD and CAP to deal with SU-35s and S-400s to make it safe for an A-10 to get close to a Russian tank column.

The Javalin would be the okay for now or the AT4 since its unguided and can be used to hit sideways. However the best anti tank munition that it proven to even kill the mighty M1 Abrams.

Well. What they also didn't want was any more prisoners at GITMO. There was no way to put them on trial, there were too many of them and they were gathering up more of them all the time. GITMO was also a big issue on the left. There were all sorts of people who cried about how imprisonment was inhumane and evil. There were also growing legal problems with the US federal courts and legally how GITMO operated.

So they totally shifted away from operations designed to capture prisoners or with the chance of surrenders. They shifted to a policy of summary execution of the enemy by drone. That solved many of their problems. Most of the people on the left who cried daily about the poor prisoners didn't care about the dead bodies in other countries from drones at all.
