What's amazing is that Phil actually thinks these two things.

A. He can still make the Youtube thing work

And 2. He thinks making another channel not related to DSP will save him.

He still fails to realize the core problem with why the SoK "movement" got started... HIMSELF. His attitude has not improved at all since his old camcorder days and it's because of that toxic personality that he will always have a hate train following him ready to plow him with with facts he's trying to cover up or call him out on dumb shit he shouldn't have said to start with.

He's also got the thinnest skin anyone's ever seen. There are balloons out there with thicker skin than Phil. And Phil's trying to start an opinion blog? Good Lord, that idea's dead before it even began, isn't it?

Phil's done. For real this time. No matter what does, his channel will never see the numbers it saw 8 years ago. He had his chance to adapt and missed it a long time ago.

Yeah, I can't see Phil lasting two more years at the most if he continues to have his shitty attitude. Not even KG and Sammy can save him.

All good things come to an end, it seems. I think only Phil himself is the one person unaware of the fact that he's basically the Sonichu equivalent of YouTube LPers, with most of his audience being ironic watchers that think that he's a bit of a dick.

Playing all those video games and snort... talking at the same time is getting too exhausting for poor Phil, so he comes up with a new format where he eliminates the video games from the equation and decides to talk more. This is just pure brilliance. He constantly bitches about how overcrowded the video game streaming is and how hard it is to stay relevant. Well, I wonder how hard it is to compete with every schmuck who has access to a webcam?

What kind of one man talk show can a person like DSP even produce? When you remove Panda from the mix, Phil is a man whose sole moment human interaction of the day is paying the cashier at Greasy Jack's burger joint. What exactly can he offer to his audience that other talking heads in Youtube cannot? DVD reviews? Bitching about TV dinners? Phil Burnell's insights on being Phil Burnell? Tips on treating gout? Tour of the kitchen cabinets? Hell, we're gonna need a bingo sheet for this one.

That implies that people want to work with Phil and honestly, that's not going to happen. His rep along with the John and Howard video pretty much destroyed any hope of him doing any collabs.

It's scary to think that there's someone out there who'd be willing to do that for him, even with all the evidence to show how wretched Phil is.

I'm sure Sammy and KG would love to do a collab, the dick riders... shame that Sammy doesn't have time for a five hour collab.

They'll likely be a $150 Patron reward. He'll say that they'll be ready to distribute by Summer, but then he'll say that the planets aligned and told him not to make them when that date nears. He'll pocket the money because he's a greedy fuck, and will get pissed off at his fans for calling him out over it. Shit loads of drama will happen, including even more fans leaving the sinking ship, and KG will briefly experience a crisis of doubt before getting back on Phil's dick.

In the end, Phil will learn nothing from the experience, and continue to find ways to undercut our incredibly low expectations of him.

Amazing how he thought that this video would've been a good idea. I can only imagine where Sleeping Dogs and the MGS series would've been placed if this stupid thing caught on.

It's also startling how different his voice was back then when compared to his voice today. He became incredibly skittish and more obnoxious as time went by.

Wow. I always thought that was one of his Twitter updates. I never knew that he actually said that during a stream while waving his arms around like an asshole. I know he's a narcissist, but does he actually believe that every word that comes out of his mouth has the Midas touch? Is he that vain, or is he just an idiot?

Not really an update but a confirmation. There was a lot of heresay that PewDiePie was a fan of Phil and was "inspired" by Phil to do LP's. There was no real evidence of this but going through PewDiePie's channel (ugh) and searching for his liked videos, if you go back 4 years ago there's multiple Phil videos (mostly vlogs) that he liked. Not just one or two, there's at least a dozen Phil vids that he liked.

So, that doesn't say flat out that he was inspired by Phil but he was definitely a fan of his. He hasn't liked any of Phil's recent videos. I wonder why...
